Chapter 680: Chapter 681: It’s All the Trouble You Caused

Lifting her gaze, she saw his finely sculpted jawline.

“Madam, don’t move.”

With his eyes closed, he suddenly spoke.

Gu Qiangwei was sowhat surprised, thinking he was still asleep.

Then, she saw him slowly open his eyes.

It was still early, just seven in the morning, and the sky was barely bright.

He looked down at the person in his arms, who hadn’t slept much all night.

“Awake so early?”

He tried to divert attention with small talk.

Gu Qiangwei nodded, “Mhm, didn’t you say we’re visiting my parents’ house today?”

Qin Sijue was sowhat tired, “That’s right.”

“You didn’t sleep well?” Seeing the weariness between his brows, Gu Qiangwei asked with concern.

Qin Sijue fixed his gaze on her, “It’s all your fault.”

With those words, Gu Qiangwei instantly understood, and a flush of red climbed her cheeks.

“I’ll get up first!”

She quickly got out of bed with a prompt reaction, afraid if she stayed too long, he would beco restless once again.

Her departure was indeed a relief for Qin Sijue.

After all, having a beauty in one’s arms made resistance most difficult.

After breakfast, Qin Sijue really did take Gu Qiangwei to visit his in-laws!

It’s just… the entourage seed a bit large?

Through the rearview mirror, seeing several black sedans behind, Gu Qiangwei turned her head toward the man in the driver’s seat.

Such an entourage seed like it was ant to deal with Nangong Feifei?

Nangong Villa.

Knowing her daughter and son-in-law were coming, Tang Yuyan got up early, and even Nangong Mingchuan did not go to his company today, but stayed at ho instead.

“Feifei, where have you been these past few days?”

With his rarity in seeing his daughter, he furrowed his brows and asked.

Nangong Feifei, having finished breakfast, was about to go upstairs when she stopped at his voice.

“You have Gu Qiangwei as a daughter, why do you care about what I do?”

Nangong Mingchuan stared at her, not speaking for quite a while.

At that mont, the sound of engines approached from outside.

Tang Yuyan swiftly went out to et them.

When she reached the door and saw several cars parked outside the courtyard, her instinctive reaction was to be stunned.

It was supposed to be just a simple al, so why such a grand procession?

Seeing her daughter approaching from afar, Tang Yuyan didn’t ponder for long but smiled at the arriving Gu Qiangwei, “Weiwei.”

“Mom.”

“Is your health better? No more abdominal pain?”

Gu Qiangwei shook her head, “No.”

Ever since Qin Sijue returned, her condition had been quite good.

Having said this, she turned her head to glance at Qin Sijue.

Qin Sijue stared at Tang Yuyan and said, “Mother-in-law.”

The sudden address as “mother-in-law” caught Tang Yuyan by surprise.

After all, his natural deanor always seed arrogant, never easily bestowing honorifics on anyone except his own family.

After a brief pause, Tang Yuyan smiled and said, “Let’s go inside.”

Inside the living room, as a group approached the entrance, Nangong Feifei at the staircase abruptly turned and left a statent, “I’ll go upstairs first.”

Just then, Nangong He ca down the stairs and, seeing his granddaughter going up, couldn’t help but speak, “Feifei, although Weiwei is your sister, isn’t it improper for you to go upstairs as she arrives?”

He knew there was friction between her and Weiwei, but now they were family, and Weiwei hadn’t pursued any matters during the days they lived together, naturally hoping the sisters would get along well.

Now, with her arrival with Qin Si, Feifei was going upstairs to avoid them, which surely wasn’t right.

However, Nangong Feifei didn’t heed him, only saying, “I’m not feeling too well.”
