Chapter 63: Chapter 63: You’ll Know Once You Enter

Staring at the striking sign outside the car window, Gu Qiangwei instinctively paused.

What was her father bringing her here for?

After getting out of the car and glancing at the splendidly grand entrance, she turned her head, puzzled, towards her father Gu Zhendong, “Why have you brought

here?”

Gu Zhendong’s face stiffened for a mont, but he quickly regained his composure, turned his head, and looked at Gu Qiangwei with a smile, “Hehe, you’ll see when we go in, let’s go!”

Watching her father stride forward, Gu Qiangwei stood rooted to the spot, her heart harboring a few questions, but after hesitating for a couple of seconds, she still followed Gu Zhendong’s steps.

After entering the extravagant and grand entrance, a few minutes later, father and daughter arrived at the door of a private room.

Although it was Gu Qiangwei’s first ti in such a place, upon entering, she could not help but notice the atmosphere of rampant revelry. Gu Zhendong pushed open the heavily ornate door of the private room, and soon, laughter could be heard coming from inside.

Looking around, within the dimly lit room, n and won sat together, welcoming each other with drinks, their faces adorned with ingratiating grins that had long lost any sense of dignity.

For a mont, Gu Qiangwei’s heart sank and she stared blankly at the scene before her.

What was her father’s purpose for bringing her here?

Looking up, Gu Zhendong had already walked straight into the room, heading towards a man sitting on the sofa who seed to have a formidable presence.

“Oh, Chairman Gu is here.” The man, embracing a scantily clad beautiful woman, showed a flippant smile upon Gu Zhendong’s arrival.

Seeing the man, Gu Zhendong bowed slightly, his face wearing a sycophantic grin.

“Mr. Lan.”

Gu Qiangwei stood not far away, watching her father, who usually held himself so high, now nodding and bowing to a younger man. What exactly was going on?

“Qiangwei, co here.”

Gu Zhendong turned his head, t her gaze, and smiled as he beckoned her over.

Gu Qiangwei hesitated for half a second before walking towards him.

“Hehe, Mr. Lan, this is my daughter, Gu Qiangwei.”

Upon hearing this, Mr. Lan’s gaze imdiately shifted towards Gu Qiangwei.

Although the room was dim, it was hard to miss her well-proportioned figure and her exquisitely beautiful features.

Compared to her, all the won in the room seed rely a background, no, perhaps even re shadows.

Old Gu actually had such an outstanding daughter, he really hadn’t expected that.

Mr. Lan’s gaze was quickly captivated by Gu Qiangwei, unable to look away even for a mont.

“Move over there!”

He released the heavily made-up woman from his arms, telling her to roll off the sofa not far away.

Then, smiling at Gu Zhendong and his daughter, he said, “Sit.”

Dragging his daughter along, Gu Zhendong sat down on the sofa, but placed Gu Qiangwei between himself and Mr. Lan.

“Qiangwei, this is Mr. Lan Song, the scion of X Bank.”

Upon hearing this, Gu Qiangwei’s brows slightly furrowed, her gaze suspicious as she looked at Gu Zhendong.

Why was he introducing Mr. Lan, the scion of X Bank, to her?

Suddenly, a thought flashed through her mind.

Was this Mr. Lan the important person his father was referring to?

Her eyes scanned the debauched setting of the private room, and it was clear to any discerning eye what kind of place this was.

Turning her head, her gaze grew colder, “What did you bring

here for, exactly?”

eting her icy gaze, Gu Zhendong hesitated, but quickly found an excuse.

“Qiangwei, Dad’s company has been facing so problems recently, and needs Mr. Lan’s help, so he brought you here to join Mr. Lan for a al.”
