As she helped him out of his shirt, thinking back on his earlier rescue, Gu Qiangwei sincerely expressed her gratitude.

Naturally, she didn’t like being in the hospital, but when one is injured, there’s nothing to be done, right?
“By the way, Uncle Qin asked if you want to have lunch at ho.”
Seeing him pick out a new shirt, Gu Qiangwei instinctively reached out to help him put it on.
But as soon as her hand touched the shirt, she froze.
Why was she feeling like a new bride? Asking him whether he wanted to have lunch at ho while also helping him dress; the feeling was really quite… sothing!
Qin Sijue’s gaze first landed on her still hand, then his eyelids lifted slightly, resting on her blushing face.
His eyes deepened, “What do you hope for?”
Gu Qiangwei looked up, her expression pausing.
What she hoped for?
“Uh, if it’s not a problem, shall we eat at ho?”
After speaking, she was taken aback herself.
Why had she said that?
A rush of bashfulness overca her, and she lowered her face, a hint of redness surfacing.
“Then let’s eat at ho.”
He seed quite agreeable to her suggestion.
Gu Qiangwei lifted her eyes, wondering to herself, is this how ‘pretend spouses’ interact?
Why did she feel like they were playing for real?
Cough cough, she must be overthinking it!
“Let
help you!”
As soon as their eyes t again and she saw him struggling to dress, Gu Qiangwei instinctively extended her hand and helped him put on the new shirt.
Knock knock knock!
A series of knocks sounded.
Once dressed, the two of them exited the walk-in closet and saw the butler, Uncle Qin, standing at the bedroom door.
Seeing them, he smiled respectfully, “Young Master, your lunch is…?”
“We’ll eat at ho.”
