Chapter 413: Chapter 414 They All Have Demon’s Blood

Being reassured that way, Nangong Xi’s mood seed to have improved a lot, and his previous fear instantly dissipated.

Gu Qiangwei smiled, and upon careful thought, she did indeed share many similarities with this little fellow.

Qin Sijue, on the side, suddenly harbored an impossible notion in his heart upon seeing the two chat so rrily.

Their similarities were not limited to those aspects, there was another commonality, which was the “Demon’s Blood.”

Nangong Xi was Nangong Mingchuan’s son, which ant that, like Nangong Feifei, he might have inherited the Demon’s Blood.

However, this couldn’t be determined yet because the Demon’s Blood might be inherited by so and not by others.

But in the Qin Family, it had been passed down from generation to generation.

His deep gaze fell on Gu Qiangwei’s face. Why did she have the Demon’s Blood in her veins?

And who exactly were her biological parents?

“By the way, did your mommy know you ca here all by yourself?”

Gu Qiangwei suddenly asked as she looked at Nangong Xi.

Caught off guard by her question, the little fellow then rembered that he had been away from ho for quite a while, and his mommy must be looking for him everywhere by now.

As he was thinking this, a voice ca from the doorway.

“Xi!”

The three of them turned their heads and, sure enough, saw Tang Yuyan standing at the doorway to the hospital room, anxiously looking at Nangong Xi.

“Mommy!”

“How could you co here and not tell ? Mommy’s been looking for you for ages, do you know that?”

“Sorry, Mommy.”

Facing his mother’s reprimand, the little guy’s head hung down in a show of contrition.

His own dear son, Tang Yuyan couldn’t bear to truly scold him, but she had indeed been terrified a mont ago, having searched high and low for him without success.

Thinking he might have co to see Gu Qiangwei, she had co here on the off chance to try her luck and indeed found her son was here.

“Auntie Tang.”

Seeing her, Gu Qiangwei spoke and called out to her.

At the sound of her voice, Tang Yuyan seed a bit taken aback.

She had thought that after the incident with Nangong Feifei, Gu Qiangwei would reject her and her son.

Looking up, she saw Gu Qiangwei with a faint smile hanging at the corner of her mouth.

“You, are you feeling okay?”

She shook her head, “I’m already all right.”

Tang Yuyan seed to breathe a sigh of relief as she looked at her with a slight smile, “That’s good to hear.”

Qin Sijue, who had been by their side, maintained an expressionless face from beginning to end, still carrying his air of aloofness.

Compared with Gu Qiangwei, however, he just couldn’t find it in himself to dislike this mother and son pair, despite knowing they were from the Nangong Family, and despite knowing that the gunshot wound to his chest had co from Nangong Feifei, he simply couldn’t bring himself to dislike Tang Yuyan.

“Mommy, I have to tell you, Sister Qiangwei also has acrophobia like , we’re really so alike!”

As if rembering sothing all of a sudden, Nangong Xi turned, looking up at Tang Yuyan excitedly.

Tang Yuyan paused, seemingly also surprised, “Really?”

“Yeah!”

After a glance at her son, Tang Yuyan looked back toward Gu Qiangwei, “You and Xi, you really do look alike.”

Gu Qiangwei smiled, “I think so too.”

The two of them exchanged smiles, each sensing a mysterious emotion stirring within their hearts, yet neither of them knew where that mysterious emotion stemd from.

“Auntie Tang—”

“You should rest now.”

Gu Qiangwei seed to want to say sothing more, but was interrupted by Qin Sijue.

Raising her eyes, she t his stern black ones.

Having looked at Qin Sijue, Tang Yuyan understood that he probably didn’t want her and her son to stay there any longer, so after glancing at Gu Qiangwei, she spoke softly, “Qiangwei, get so good rest, I’ll co… to see you another day.”
