Chapter 158: Chapter 158: A Good Dog Doesn’t Stand in the Way

“How did you know it was his car?” Nangong He wondered. He was not well-versed in cars and felt that Jingcheng had nurous cars of the sa model. How could his granddaughter be so certain it was Qin Sijue’s car?

Nangong Feifei smiled, her gaze not leaving the car, “Of course, I know. That car is a limited edition, and the license plate is his.”

As soon as she finished speaking, she turned her head to Nangong He, “Grandpa, will you go with , please?”

After the incident last ti, she still felt sowhat intimidated by Qin Sijue, but with her grandfather by her side, she felt fearless.

After all, her grandfather was his elder, not only that, but also a war comrade of Grandfather Qin. Believing in the saying, ‘Respect the monk for the Buddha’s sake,’ she trusted that Qin Sijue would not dare to give her an ugly look in front of her grandfather.

Without waiting for Nangong He to respond, she had already pulled him toward that Bugatti.

However, as they approached, she saw the car door open and Gu Qiangwei stepping out, causing Nangong Feifei’s steps to halt instantaneously.

Why was it her?

Nangong He then laughed, “See, I told you it wasn’t Sijue’s car.”

Stunned, Nangong Feifei stood there, her eyes filled with jealousy as she stared at Gu Qiangwei walking toward the internal dicine building.

She had thought Qin Sijue was with her, but looking at the nearby car, which was tightly shut, there was no sign of Qin Sijue at all.

Gu Qiangwei, appearing hurried, realized at the elevator that she had forgotten to bring her cellphone.

“You are Miss Gu, aren’t you?”

Seeing the dical staff, Gu Qiangwei nodded, “Yes.”

“Your father needs surgery imdiately, please sign here!”

The dical staff, upon seeing her, quickly produced the consent form and urged her to sign it urgently.

Gu Qiangwei was montarily stunned, hesitated for a few seconds before taking the consent form.

Cerebral hemorrhage?

He had always been in good health; how could this happen so suddenly?

Due to the urgency of the situation, Gu Qiangwei couldn’t afford to think too much and quickly signed the form.

Looking at the firmly closed doors of the operating room, her heart felt incredibly heavy.

Not knowing how long she had been waiting outside until a pair of red high heels appeared in her lowered line of sight, Gu Qiangwei then ca to her senses and followed the legs up to see Nangong Feifei suddenly appearing before her.

Seeing her, Gu Qiangwei was naturally surprised.

But knowing Nangong Feifei’s personality from their previous encounters, she knew it was best not to provoke her.

After giving her a cold glance, she stood up, intending to move to another spot.

But just as she was about to step away, Nangong Feifei rudely blocked her path.

Her expression chilled, “What do you an?”

Nangong Feifei smiled, “No aning.”

Staring at her for a few seconds, Gu Qiangwei could see that she was deliberately looking for trouble.

At this mont, her mood was disturbed, and she did not want to have any conflict with this woman.

Glancing at her once more, she took the initiative to pass her by and move to a different spot to avoid her.

Yet Nangong Feifei moved again, blocking her way.

“This is a hospital, I don’t want to make a scene,” she said calmly.

Nangong Feifei laughed, “I have no intention of making a scene.”

Staring at her, Gu Qiangwei’s expression turned icy, and she suddenly asked, “Have you ever heard of a saying?”

Taken aback, Nangong Feifei was sowhat confused, “What?”

“A good dog doesn’t stand in the way.”

“…You! Are you insulting ?”

“I didn’t na nas. Of course, if you want to take it personally, I won’t object,” Gu Qiangwei replied with a frigid deanor.

Seeing her cold attitude, Nangong Feifei was so enraged that she impulsively raised her hand, ready to slap Gu Qiangwei!
