Capítulo 1403: Chapter 1404: Investigation Results

Qin Feimo sat down, his posture elegant and relaxed, with long fingers reaching for that stack of docunts, which he then picked up and opened for review.

The assistant stood by, observing him attentively as he carefully browsed through the information, his brow slightly furrowed.

“President Qin, when Miss Qianqian passed away, her sister, Miss Ma, also entered the Xinyue Villa community that day, seemingly to seek refuge with Miss Qianqian.”

As the assistant spoke, Qin Feimo paused slightly in his page-turning motion, raising his eyes to glance at the assistant, “Are you sure?”

“There are photos attached. The surveillance at the entrance of the community captured Miss Ma entering the community on that day. The date displayed shows it was ten minutes before Miss Qianqian’s car accident.”

Upon hearing this, a flash of shock passed through the depths of Qin Feimo’s dark eyes. An impossibility suddenly seed possible in his heart.

To this day, the reason why Ma Qianqian rushed into the middle of the road remained a mystery to him.

His gaze slightly lowered, returning to the investigative report.

All investigations revealed that Ma Pianpian did not arrive in Jingcheng after Ma Qianqian’s death. Instead, she arrived on the day of the car accident and had even been in the community where Ma Qianqian lived.

Why, why did Ma Pianpian deceive him?

Moreover, she had obviously been to the villa where Ma Qianqian lived, so why pretend she hadn’t? What is she hiding?

A series of questions floated to the surface of his mind. His dark eyes narrowed slightly as he stared at the photos and dates in the docunts, with the impossibility seeming more likely.

His fingers tightened slightly, and a trace of anger flickered on his brow.

Then, “Swish—”

A thick stack of docunts was flung to the floor, catching the assistant by surprise, who watched the suddenly enraged BOSS with astonishnt.

What happened? Was there sothing in those docunts to make President Qin so angry?

Standing in place, the assistant was unsure whether to pick up the scattered docunts from the floor.

To avoid the storm, after so thought, he decided it was better to stand aside and quietly wait for the BOSS’s orders.

On the staircase, Feng Jinglei stood there, also surprised, not understanding why the previously calm Qin Feimo suddenly looked so grim.

Was there a problem with the company? Or did negotiations with soone else fall apart?

No, she seed to have heard the assistant ntion sothing about Miss Qianqian and Miss Ma, referring to Ma Qianqian?

But logically, ntioning that na in front of Qin Feimo shouldn’t be enough to make him angry, no matter when.

Gazing at the man with a dark face sitting on the sofa, Feng Jinglei stood there, unsure whether to remain here or sensibly go upstairs.

Going upstairs ant not wanting him to vent his inexplicable anger on her. Not wanting to go upstairs ant she was sowhat curious about what was wrong with him.

However, knowing this man’s unpredictability, it was best not to ddle in affairs that didn’t concern her.

Thinking of this, Feng Jinglei was about to turn to go upstairs.

“You can go back first.”

Just as she turned, Qin Feimo’s voice ca from the sofa.

Upon hearing this, Feng Jinglei couldn’t help but pause in her steps, turning to look at Qin Feimo.

The assistant glanced at him, then bowed his head slightly, “Yes.”

After the assistant left, Qin Feimo sat on the sofa, his gaze not fixed on any particular place, just sitting quietly.

From her spot on the stairs, it was the first ti Feng Jinglei had seen him so deep in thought, so quiet that there were no sounds or movents.
