Capítulo 1325: Chapter 1326: Or What, You Want to Skip Work?

“But our esteed President Qin actually took off his jacket and draped it over Jinglei. Isn’t that strange?”

On the other end of the phone, Xiang Jinnan was silent for quite a while.

Chen Feng, however, continued to express his bewildernt.

“Also, I overheard President Qin saying to Jinglei—” He glanced up and noticed the employee sent to deliver docunts was still standing at the office door, seemingly ‘eavesdropping’ on his gossip, which made him sourly frown.

Looking at the female employee, “Is there anything else?”

Upon hearing his cold voice, the female employee realized she could only hear half the gossip and resignedly left.

“What did he say?” Halfway through the topic, the call with Xiang Jinnan seed to show he was eager to find out what Qin Feimo said to Feng Jinglei.

Chen Feng lifted his head, seeing the employee had already left, so he continued speaking to Xiang Jinnan on the phone.

“He said to Jinglei: ‘Let’s go, ho.’ Don’t you think… could she be… being kept by President Qin!?”

If he hadn’t heard ‘ho,’ he wouldn’t dare make such a bold assumption.

“You’re the one being kept!” Xiang Jinnan shouted back indignantly!

“Then tell , if they aren’t living together, why would President Qin say that to her?”

“Chen Feng.”

“Hmm?”

“You’re talking about the big boss now; aren’t you afraid of losing your job over this?” Xiang Jinnan spoke, seemingly wanting to end this topic.

With that comnt, Chen Feng also seed to realize the gravity of the situation.

In the company, talking gossip about anyone was okay, but gossiping about the big boss was asking for trouble!

“As long as Jinglei is alright, just don’t think too much about this.”

After saying this, Xiang Jinnan ended the call.

Imdiately afterward, he made another call to Feng Jinglei.

anwhile, after a 20-minute car ride, the blue Lamborghini drove into the courtyard of the Commander Residence.

Because it was a sudden return, her phone and bag were still in the office, she had no chance to bring them out.

But thinking she had to return to the company after changing clothes anyway, Feng Jinglei wasn’t in too much of a rush.

Entering the living room, the man paused as if not planning to go upstairs.

Feng Jinglei let out a sigh of relief, turned to glance at Qin Feimo, pursed her pink lips, and hesitated repeatedly before finally thanking him.

“Thank you.”

“No need, these were grandmother’s orders.”

Qin Feimo spoke with an indifferent tone, his expression calm and unruffled.

Feng Jinglei glanced at him, said no more, and went straight upstairs to change into clean clothes.

It was already over ten minutes later when she ca downstairs again.

She thought Qin Feimo had long left, considering that when they left the group earlier, he was holding a board eting, coming and going, it was close to quitting ti.

Yet, after changing clothes and coming downstairs, she unexpectedly saw Qin Feimo still seated on the sofa, not leaving, but instead…waiting for her to co down?

Hearing footsteps, Qin Feimo on the sofa slowly raised his eyes, seeing her had changed into black pants.

Facing his gaze, Feng Jinglei felt sowhat shy.

“Um… why haven’t you left?”

“Waiting for you.” He responded calmly and naturally, as if this was the most normal thing to say.

She was taken aback by his ‘waiting for you,’ staring fixedly into his deep, dark eyes.

“Wait, waiting for ?”

“Otherwise, are you planning to skip work?”

She was stunned for a mont, realizing he ant waiting in case she changed her clothes and didn’t go to the company, but instead directly clocked out?
