Capítulo 1311: Chapter 1312: Returning the Phone

Zhuang Yanyan knew she liked her grandson, but after the incident with Ma Qianqian, she harbored a knot in her heart and was unwilling to face her own feelings.

All this, Zhuang Yanyan could see.

Hearing this, Feng Jinglei was slightly taken aback and questioned herself.

If Qin Feimo was really with another woman, would she truly not care at all?

“Grandma Qin, it’s not that I care, but can this matter really be stopped just because of that?”

On the phone, Zhuang Yanyan was startled, her expression darkening.

Of course, she knew that just because she cared, it wouldn’t stop her grandson from liking another woman, but sotis feelings need to be defended; going with the flow would only result in watching things that belonged to you slip away.

“Jinglei, emotions indeed involve two people, but whether there’s a result depends on whether you’ve made the effort. If you haven’t even tried, how could you have the opportunity to have him?”

Feng Jinglei certainly understood what Zhuang Yanyan ant.

But she had tried; for three years, he hadn’t even given her a glance. The mont Ma Qianqian appeared, he looked her way. If after trying, she knew there wouldn’t be a result, why waste her mind defending soone who wasn’t hers to begin with?

Besides, she’s tired over these years.

“Grandma Qin, I understand what you an. But it’s not opportunity that I lack. For three years, every day has been an opportunity to , yet he doesn’t belong to , so no matter how hard I try, it’s in vain.”

With her words, Zhuang Yanyan felt a bit of heartache.

She too couldn’t understand why her grandson couldn’t see Jinglei, when even as an outsider she could see how long and deeply she had been devoted to him.

“His phone seems to be out of battery, Grandma Qin, I’ll hang up first.” She said this, just to avoid continuing the topic with Zhuang Yanyan.

“Alright, you sleep early.”

“Mm.”

After hanging up, Feng Jinglei didn’t imdiately take the phone to Qin Feimo. Instead, she sat on the sofa, pondered for a mont, and after about two or three minutes, got up and left the room, heading upstairs.

At the door of Qin Feimo’s room, she raised her hand and knocked.

“Knock, knock!”

After waiting for half a minute with no response from inside, she knocked again.

There was still no response.

Strange, could he be in the study?

Thinking of this, Feng Jinglei frowned slightly, glanced at the direction of the study, and walked over.

The study door wasn’t closed, and she walked straight in, finding no sign of Qin Feimo inside, so she returned to the bedroom.

Knocking again, she couldn’t help but call out, “Qin Feimo?”

“…” The response she received was still silence.

After pausing for a few seconds, she raised her hand to turn the doorknob.

Could it be that he had already fallen asleep?

Pushing the door open, she saw that the large bedroom was empty of Qin Feimo’s presence, and she slightly furrowed her brow, not knowing where he could have gone.

It was so late, and with his phone still with her, it was unlikely he had gone out.

Just as she was lost in thought, she suddenly heard the sound of a door opening.

Startled, she instinctively looked up, seeing the bathroom door open, and then Qin Feimo erged, shirtless, with only a white towel wrapped around his waist.

He had been taking a shower, and amidst the sound of running water, he heard soone knock on the door.

When he saw Feng Jinglei, he was taken aback, surprised that she’d enter his room directly.

Seeing Qin Feimo like this, Feng Jinglei was also montarily stunned, and after a pause of about five seconds, she quickly turned around, her cheeks flushed.
