After the second episode aired, it hit the trending topics in less than half an hour.

[Hahaha, every ti I watch this show, I can’t stop laughing. Mia, you’re such a clever little rascal, you’ve completely cracked the show’s rules.]

[I still vividly rember last season when the guests were completely tricked by the production team, but now with you guys, it’s totally reversed.]

[This is the first ti I’ve seen the director being outplayed. Mia, you truly deserve the credit.]

[The director probably feels like crying now because instead of finding a guest, he’s found a walking BUG for the show.]

Netizens were having a great ti with the jokes, so even watched the second episode several tis.

[Director, I’ll give you a day. I hope you’ll be sensible enough to stream the third episode live. Don’t make beg you!]

[Hurry up and livestream it, or else, see this knife? I’ve already put it to my throat.]

No matter how much netizens threatened, the production team was certainly not going to agree to their unreasonable demands.

However, because netizens repeated the livestream videos so often, they began to nitpick, making claims about who’s not getting along, which relationships are fake and just for show, and the like.

But these rumors didn’t spread much, they didn’t cause any impact, and hardly anyone paid attention to them.

Several days later, a topic started to gain traction.

It’s unclear which blogger started it, but it certainly stirred up a storm.

[Here’s a scoop: there’s a couple on a dating show that’s in a contract marriage. I heard they married for family interests and have no genuine feelings for each other. Now it seems the contract period is almost up, so they’re discussing divorce, and it will be exposed soon.]

Whether or not soone behind the scenes bought the trending spot is unknown, but the topic got quite popular with a lot of discussions. Although the blogger didn’t specify which show, there are only a few dating shows being heavily aired now.

And the clues are so obvious, who wouldn’t know it’s about "The Only Love in this Lifeti"?

The most discussed pair under this topic is Leo Lynn and Ethan Spencer, since from the first episode, their interactions have been the least natural, not like a married couple at all.

[Could it really be true? Never would I have thought that watching a show could reveal such a major scoop, and it’s like sothing you’d only see in a novel—contract relationships, goodness, it’s eye-opening.]

[Let’s not listen to all these random claims for now. There will surely be a conclusion. I’ll just wait online for the outco.]

[But didn’t they have a lot of sweet little monts? I don’t believe the sweetness I’ve been enjoying for days is just broken glass, sob sob sob, I don’t believe it.]

Although Leo Lynn and Ethan Spencer weren’t as eye-catching as other guests on the show, they managed to gather a small group of CP fans over the two episodes.

The CP fans argued their case vocally, leading to ongoing disputes.

The online discussion continued, but none of the involved parties ever ca forward to clarify anything. But then again, the original post didn’t ntion nas, so no one would step up to claim it.

...

Mia Sutton wasn’t particularly busy these past few days, mostly staying at ho to read so professional books, draw fan art, and spend ti surfing the internet.

Today, as soon as she opened her phone, she saw a high-ranking hot search term: [a couple from a dating show in a contract marriage]

Mia stopped in her tracks holding her phone, as an image flashed into her mind.

The concept of a contract marriage was strangely familiar.

Back when she married Jensen Sterling, it was just like that, and this hot search term easily pointed to them.

Involuntarily, Mia’s breathing paused for a mont, and after hesitating on the phone screen, she clicked in.

As she finished reading through the content under the hot search, she breathed a sigh of relief and beca aware of sothing.

Their agreent seed to still exist, so Mia quickly tapped her way to the study, holding her phone.

Jensen Sterling was originally busy but looked up when he heard the noise and saw the slightly anxious-looking girl, curiously asking, "Mia, what’s wrong?"

"Mr. Sterling, the agreent we signed back then, is it still around?"

Mia rembered seeing that agreent once, but after the two confessed their feelings, she never concerned herself with it again.

Hearing this, Jensen’s hand paused above the keyboard, glanced at her, and replied, "It’s still here, why?"

Mia showed him the phone, "Look, this hot search ca up today, I just saw it."

Jensen’s gaze fell on the phone screen, looking at the content under the hot search. He had been handling things all day, so he hadn’t kept track of what was happening online.

Mia: "Although it’s not about us, this hot search reminded that it might be better to destroy our agreent." Otherwise, if sothing cos up, it’d be a hassle.

Jensen opened the drawer beside him, sifted through the papers, and pulled out a piece of paper from the bottom—exactly the agreent they both signed back then.

Their signatures were at the bottom, close together.

Holding the sa item, the scene when it was signed was pleasantly clear in his mind, yet now the situation was entirely different from what was written in the agreent.

Jensen handed the paper to Mia, "Where’s yours?"

"Here." Mia took her hand out from behind her back and sat next to Jensen.

Mia neatly placed the two agreents together and leaned over to read them; she hadn’t looked at them for a long ti and didn’t recall much inside.

Jensen watched as she examined the agreent carefully, not knowing what she was scrutinizing.

The next second, Mia raised her eyes, supported her chin with one hand, and smiled with slightly curved eyes, pointing to a spot on the paper with the other hand: "Mr. Sterling, look at this place."

"What is it?" Jensen leaned over, dropping his gaze onto the paper, and a few lines of words t his eyes.

Mia mischievously smiled and asked, "Mr. Sterling, if the agreent is destroyed, does what’s written still count?"

Jensen: "..." It can’t be said to count, because sleeping in separate rooms is impossible.

Mia pouted, "I rember soone saying after marriage we’d sleep separately and that they wouldn’t stop from making friends."

"Have I stopped you from making friends?"

Mia: "..." She tilted her head, thinking seriously, maybe not.

But! Every ti she got caught watching a little idol’s video, soone would be quite demanding at night. Also, she liked watching handso guys and pretty girls, and soone would be grumpy the whole day; she often had to coax him for a long ti.

Though you never stopped , wasn’t your every action saying: Just try liking soone else!

Of course, Mia had no idea that after a ti talking with a male idol backstage, and hearing that the little guy seed to like her, Jensen’s team packed the male group’s schedule tight, leaving those young boys no ti to chase stars.

Things like that happened more than once, only she wasn’t aware of it.

Jensen: "But so things still do count."

Mia looked up with confusion and blinked: "Like what?"

"Your money is safe, plus there’s more, as your husband’s money is also yours."

Mia glared at him, "... So should I be grateful to have such a good husband?"

Jensen slightly raised his eyebrows, pulled her closer, and pecked her lips: "Mm, you’re right."

Mia stared at him wide-eyed in shock, how could soone be so shaless.

....

In the end, they did dispose of the agreent, and Mia even mumbled before destroying it: "Dear agreent, your mission is complete, you can go in peace~"

Agreent: Thank you very much indeed.
