Giselle Sumrs didn’t live in the main house but in a smaller house at the back. The house wasn’t big, but it was tastefully decorated, completely different in style from the main house.

Regarding Jensen Sterling’s parents, it was obvious there were issues, but Mia Sutton was sensible enough not to ask.

After all, it was an agreent, so why ask so many questions!

The distance from the main house to the back house wasn’t very far. The two of them walked over, with Mia Sutton holding onto Jensen Sterling’s arm the entire ti, walking quietly beside him.

Once inside the house, it felt even more different. Everything here was quite simple, with an elegant atmosphere.

Giselle Sumrs was sitting on the sofa. When she saw them co in, she said calmly, "You’re here."

Jensen Sterling: "Yes." Then he continued to ask: "How have you been recently?"

"Pretty good." She waved them over, "Co sit down."

She glanced at Mia Sutton, then smiled, saying, "The young girl looks quite pretty. How did she end up liking the blockhead of our family?"

This was a joke.

Mia Sutton also smiled and answered sweetly, "Jensen is good in every way. I’m the lucky one." Then she pretended to complain, "Many young girls have their eyes on him."

Giselle Sumrs chuckled and pointed to the teapot on the table, "Just in ti, you both arrived. I just brewed so tea. Have a taste."

Jensen Sterling poured three cups, first handing one to his mother, then to Mia Sutton.

Mia Sutton held the cup, gently slled it, and thought to herself she was fortunate.

She took a small sip, held it in her mouth for a mont, then swallowed it. Giselle Sumrs watched her every move.

Mia Sutton put down the cup, smiling, "It’s mild yet lingering, fragrant and clear, with a rich aroma and llow taste. Indeed, mother’s tea is the best."

Jensen Sterling, hearing this, looked at her in surprise. He didn’t expect her to know about tea.

Giselle Sumrs chuckled, "Jensen has certainly brought back a treasure this ti."

"Since you two are married, get along well. Jensen can be a bit slow sotis, so don’t be too particular. But if he’s not good to you, feel free to co to . I’ll stand up for you."

Mia Sutton: "Jensen is wonderful to , so no worries."

Giselle Sumrs drank so tea, placed the cup on the table, and then asked Jensen Sterling, "I hear you aren’t planning to have a wedding."

Before Jensen Sterling could respond, Mia Sutton answered first. Questions like this were naturally for her to address, helping Jensen avoid any worries.

"Mom, I decided against having a wedding. We’re both in the industry, and my career is on the rise. Jensen is also very popular right now, so having a wedding isn’t ideal. But rest assured, whether we have a wedding or not, as long as we love each other, that’s what matters."

Her words were spoken beautifully.

"Since that’s the case, I won’t interfere with your decision. Here’s this bracelet for you." She handed a box from the table to Mia Sutton.

Mia Sutton was unsure whether to accept it or not. It seed significant, and she hesitated, looking at Jensen Sterling.

Jensen Sterling smiled and took it over, "What, overwheld with joy? Quickly, thank mom."

Mia Sutton promptly and sweetly said, "Thank you, mom."

Giselle Sumrs waved her hand, "Alright, I won’t keep you. Rember to bring Mia back to see often when you have ti."

Jensen Sterling agreed.

After they left, Giselle Sumrs finished her tea and went upstairs.

She genuinely liked the young girl. As for the girl’s past, she didn’t care; after all, she’s already recognized as her daughter-in-law, and others should refrain from comnts.
