In the car, Mia Sutton was originally propping her head up, admiring the handso man beside her. Her mind wandered free, even thinking about what his body might look like under those clothes. He looked slim in clothes but muscular out of them. It would be perfect if she could see it just once.

Suddenly, the car made a sharp turn. Mia couldn’t react in ti and was thrown sideways by the inertia, crashing straight into Jensen Sterling.

The man opened his eyes, a hint of impatience flickering within them, but it quickly vanished as he fully woke up.

Seeing this, Leo quickly apologized, "Sorry, Jensen, a car suddenly ca out of nowhere, and I had to make a sharp turn. Is everything okay?"

Jensen Sterling waved it off, "It’s fine."

The mont Leo started speaking, Mia had already settled herself properly, looking extrely well-behaved.

Jensen tilted his head and glanced at her, asking, "Are you okay?"

Mia shook her head.

Other than not being able to admire the beauty, everything was fine.

Jensen paused for a mont and then said, "I’ve told my mom we’ve known each other for a while, so..."

Before Jensen could finish, Mia interjected, "I understand, we’re in a passionate, genuine relationship, deeply in love, which is why we got married. Don’t worry, I’m a great wife."

After saying this, Mia blinked twice and clicked her tongue. She was totally capable of handling this.

Innocently charming, seductively mischievous, high-class flirt—she could be whatever needed.

Jensen looked at her twice, said nothing, and finally replied with a soft "Mm."

The Sterling Family’s main residence was quite far from the city, in a very peaceful area. A large villa with many people living in it.

Upon entering the courtyard, Jensen slightly lowered his head, his voice deep, saying, "There are a lot of people in the Sterling Family, and the relationships are complex. But you don’t need to worry about them. I’ve got everything handled. If there’s anything, you can ask mom. Don’t mind the others."

"Got it?"

Mia obediently nodded.

She knew the Sterling Family was indeed complicated. That lousy author had written about it, but she was just a supporting character. All she knew was the part that pertained to her; the rest wasn’t that clear.

However, being in a prominent family, anyone with a brain could figure out that things wouldn’t be simple.

As the two continued walking inside, suddenly, Mia stopped in her tracks. Jensen noticed and glanced at her with curiosity.

She simply looked up and gave a sweet smile, then slipped her hand into his.

Jensen didn’t expect her action but quickly caught on and looked at Mia.

The young lady lifted their clasped hands, shook them, and softly said, "Mr. Sterling, rember to do your howork next ti. Newlyweds wouldn’t be so distant."

Jensen chuckled at her remark, "That was my mistake. I’ll rember next ti."

He had never been close to anyone and didn’t like physical closeness, so he genuinely hadn’t thought of it at the mont.

Mia replied, "It’s alright. As long as I rember."

She considered herself very professional, especially after experiencing so many different scenarios. Her approach to tasks was always very ticulous.

Of course, Mia also wanted to take advantage of the situation. Handso guy—who wouldn’t like that? And seeing as he’s her husband, albeit just a pretend one, she might as well enjoy the perks!

No problem there!

Most of the Sterling Family was present today. Gavin Sterling checked the ti, his face showing heightened impatience. Even his voice carried dissatisfaction: "What’s the matter with Jensen? Why isn’t he back yet?"
