Chapter 259 - Smiling President Lu
Of course, no matter how much Lu Chen desperately wants to stay beside his wife from now on, he was still kicked out by Xiu i forcing him to attend work today. It was a deal in exchange that she would properly rest at ho without complaint if he goes to work today.

She picked up the pregnancy test box that was delivered to her by the butler, which she received with a flushed face in embarrassnt.

They were crying in their hearts. They were also cursing the person behind the stock trading suspension incident. Because of that person, their workload increased and now they have to present it to the fire-breathing dragon in front of them.
An hour into the eting, all the directors have relieved expression at the sa ti, they were all puzzled with the strange peace within the room. Though the President is actually a very reasonable person that wouldn’t punish soone just because he didn’t like their performance, the president was always cold and would rarely open his mouth either to praise or criticize soone.

It wasn’t their fault so it was a valid reason that the President wasn’t angry at them, but he was smiling so strangely that they were scared that he was going to say sothing ominous by the end of the eting but surprisingly, he didn’t.
After spending almost 2 hours listening to all their reports, he casually voiced out his comnts and instructions before walking out in a seemingly very good mood.
Xiu i’s assistant who attended on behalf of Secretary Xiu was stopped by the Directors.
"What’s wrong with the President ah?" the Finance Director asked with a strange look on his face.
Of course, Secretary Xiu’s assistant didn’t have a clue at all. "Unfortunately, I don’t know what’s happening with the President as well ah. He ca late in the morning already like that."
PR Director: "I don’t know if I should feel relieved that we avoided the eye of the storm but I’m having goosebumps right now."
Operations Director: "Sa here. I almost thought that it was so kind of evil grin as if he was about to throw another project at us but he didn’t say anything at all ah. Rather, was it probably a smile that ans we would have a bonus this month?"
Finance Director: "A bonus for what? For not ssing up the report awhile ago?"
And so, the mystery as to why the President was in a good mood appeared in the company forum with all the employees comnting their guesses as to why the President was like that.
At the President’s office, Lu Chen called over Lu Shao.
"Purchase the best brands of this stuff on this list. Keep it discreet and don’t let anyone know." Lu Chen simply ordered handing over a piece of paper.
Lu Shao quickly skimd on the list but was instantly stupefied on the spot.

Xiu i cleared her throat again and repeated, "I said I might be pregnant."

The other three Xiu’s was silent for a whole three seconds.
It was almost like they were screaming crazily on the other end of the line on the fourth second.
