Chapter 196 - Normal Man
The half-asleep human beast stared in a daze at the woman below him after feeling so small pain on his shoulder from being bitten by the woman below him. He blinked before he finally returned to his senses and realized what was going on.
Lu Chen’s eyes widened in disbelief for a split second before he got off his wife’s body and sat at the edge of the bed. He sat there in silence for a full five seconds looking at Xiu i flushed red and heaving on the bed before he moved away his eyes on her tempting figure.
He gulped nervously as he silently cursed in his mind.
Dammit! How could he confuse reality from a dream?
Shit! Just yesterday night, he held himself back from attacking her, and now that it’s morning, he was already on the verge of taking her!!
He ntally slapped himself for being a beast even in his dream. If it weren’t for him being such a beast to Xiu i in his dreams, then this wouldn’t have happened.
Lu Chen ntally questioned his long lost self-control that he was so proud of before every ti a woman tries to climb on his bed. Look at how the situation turned into. Now, he was the one trying to climb on his wife’s bed to seduce her.
His fully woken up senses didn’t stop his little brother from softening at all. Rather, it turned hard, even more, when he glanced at Xiu i’s disheveled figure on the bed. Her top was almost completely torn by him including her underwear. Her pajama shorts were also pushed up by him revealing Xiu i’s milky white legs that look especially enchanting to his eyes.
He felt his head slightly ache as he realized the current situation.
Lu Chen finally realized that n in love are truly like sweet torture ah. What abstinence? What self-control? All those are gone in front of the woman he loves in front of her.
He was simply a normal man thoroughly in love with Xiu i that even in his dreams, he was ravaging her like a beast in heat. In short? A normal man in heat. No shit.
Lu Chen bent down and pulled a blanket over Xiu i’s exposed body. And then he walked over to the nearby cabinet and grabbed his shirt that Xiu i could change into. He coughed lightly to clear his throat before opening his mouth.
"Here." He handed his shirt to her while avoiding looking at her figure.
Xiu i who was completely fl.u.s.tered with the current situation didn’t decline Lu Chen’s offer of clothes and quickly hid her arm underneath the blanket. Even with the blanket covering her, it still felt like she was still bare and n.a.k.e.d in front of Lu Chen.
She bit her lip nervously as she blad Lu Chen. Wasn’t it his fault that she looks like this right now...
Lu Chen didn’t say anything anymore and locked himself up in the bathroom. The sound of the shower sounded right after he got in and so Xiu i, who was still lying on the bed, couldn’t stop herself from laughing after she heard that.
Looks like he’s getting his retribution ah. A cold shower in the morning. Seems terrible. Heh.
While her husband is stuck in the bathroom as of the mont, Xiu i propped herself up on the bed making the blanket covering her body slide down revealing her almost n.a.k.e.d upper body.
She looked down and saw that so buttons of her pajamas were missing. She felt her face turn hot once again.
....Looks like her husband applied too much force when he was undressing her. Xiu i silently noted this in her mind for future reference. Following that line of thought, she couldn’t help but get nervous once the two of them really reach that stage. She wondered whether she had to start exercising again very soon to improve her stamina.
Xiu i snapped out of her thoughts and started smoothening her clothes. She pulled down her bra and clasped it properly. She removed her top and changed into the shirt that Lu Chen handed to her and pulled down her shorts properly.
She stood in front of the mirror and was satisfied with her decent look. The shirt was a bit oversized on her body but it looked fine. She grabbed her phone and was preparing to leave the room to prepare Lu Qiang’s lunch when Lu Chen just finished his shower. He doesn’t have many routines in the morning when he goes to work and so he quickly exited the bathroom after his shower.
He stopped in his tracks when he saw Xiu i’s appearance again. She was wearing the shirt that he gave to her before he showered. He just randomly pulled out a shirt since he was still a bit confused at that ti but seeing that oversized shirt on his wife’s body, Lu Chen felt like his blood that turned cold was turning hot again.
Now that he thinks about it, didn’t it say on the internet that won who wear their lover’s clothes look very tempting in the eyes of their lovers?
Lu Chen bit his lips as he realized his blunder. He shouldn’t have given her that... Now he’s the one in pain again.
Seeing that his wife was about to leave the room in that appearance, he quickly stopped her and held her wrist. Xiu i turned her head and looked at him in confusion.
He cleared his throat again in nervousness. "Wife, are you going out in those clothes?"
’...?’ Xiu i raised her brow in confusion. She lowered her head again to look at her appearance and didn’t find sothing wrong with it.
Lu Chen took a deep breath and didn’t answer her. Instead, he dragged her back to the walk-in closet and gave her a new set of clothes from her drawer.
"Change into this." He simply said. Xiu i, still confused at his request reluctantly accepted the clothes he was handing over to her. Nevertheless, since he told her to change then there must be really sothing wrong with her appearance that she couldn’t see?
After seeing her changed into a new set of clothes, Lu Chen was finally satisfied. If it was just him who would see her in that getup, it would’ve been fine. But she was almost going to wear it today in front of all their employees. Thinking about that, his mood soured and he sighed in relief that he stopped her from going out in that appearance in ti.
After that brief incident in the morning, the two went on with their normal routine. Xiu i left first to go downstairs while Lu Chen changed into his suit for work. The big Lu and small Lu arrived at the dining table at the sa ti. Xiu i gave Lu Qiang a few reminders for school before the family of three left the house.
"See you later, Mom, Dad." Lu Qiang kissed his mother on the cheek before climbing off the car and disappeared into the crowd of children entering the school. After that, the driver started driving to the office to drop off Lu Chen.
"Rember to call if later, okay?" Lu Chen reminded his wife who was going to be alone at ho for the first ti. Xiu i nodded at his words.
He reached and brushed her hair between his fingers. As soon as they stopped inside the underground garage, Lu Chen picked up his briefcase and was just about to get off when she saw Xiu i peeking from the window in a trance.
He imdiately understood her thoughts and proposed a solution.
"Wife."
Xiu i snapped out from her reverie and looked at Lu Chen. He flashed a gentle smile at her while stroking her head.
"Can you send so homade lunch later today?"
Xiu i blinked.
"You know my habit of forgetting lunch when I’m busy. So, to make sure that I won’t forget it, wouldn’t it be better if you personally deliver so lunch?"
"..."
Lu Chen leaned closer to her face with a smile. "So... let’s eat lunch together later. What do you think, wife?"
A smile finally appeared on Xiu i’s face before she nodded. After promising him that she would deliver his lunch to him later, Lu Chen got off the car and went straight to the office to handle so urgent affairs.
"Do a final proofread for this then send it to Mr.Pei’s company." Lu Chen stated to the two people in front of him. Xiu i’s assistant stepped forward and accepted the folder containing the letter of condolence before she nodded to the president in response.
Pei Ji Huang’s death didn’t have so much impact on their company since their collaboration project with his company already ended a year ago. So Lu Chen only needed to be concerned over his death if this is related to the forces that he and the Xiu family are currently investigating on.
