Chapter 117 - Their Kiss
In contrast with the cold and low temperature of the night in the parking lot, the temperature inside Lu Chen’s car was slowly rising as things continue to heat up.
Despite lacking experience in that area, Lu Chen continued pecking and nibbling on her lower lip. He tried to be gentle, but for him, Xiu i’s lips were like a drug that he couldn’t get enough of. His fingers tangled in her hair, as he kept her closer to him.
On the other hand, Xiu i who was overwheld by the kids awkwardly clung onto Lu Chen’s clothes. As soon as their lips touched again, she felt like the air in her lungs was completely knocked out. Her heart pounded so loudly as if it was threatening to escape from her chest.
Even though she was a bit startled at first, she gradually got into the kiss and responded to Lu Chen’s kisses.
With her response, Lu Chen beca fiercer. His other hand sn.a.k.e.d behind her waist, trying to pull her closer to his body. He grazed his tongue between her lips. Slowly, his tongue inched forward and gently parted her lips.
He started slow, trying to make her accustod to this new experience by gently touching her tongue with his. From her mouth, he could taste a hint of alcohol she had been drinking a while ago which made him lose his control even more. He tenderly tasted the inside of her mouth, running his tongue over her teeth, the roof her mouth and gently sucking her tongue.
A full minute later, Lu Chen paused. He briefly separated from Xiu i’s lips, leaving a string of saliva in between them. He did not move away but instead, he paused just to look at Xiu i’s expression.
Xiu i also opened her eyes and returned Lu Chen’s stare. While falling deep in his eyes, she could feel an indescribable attraction that was pulling her towards him. Her breathing turned heavier, while Lu Chen engraved her current expression in his mind. And then his lips fell on her once again.
This ti, this contact didn’t last as long as the previous one. Lu Chen eventually regained his self-control and ended their kiss by pecking her lightly on the lips.

The two of them fell into a brief silence after that sudden first kiss. The two of them were staring at each other’s eyes at first when everything that happened finally dawned on them.
Xiu i was the first one to look away and blushed.
Oh my gawd! What did just happen?!
She fumbled around awkwardly and acted as if she was looking for sothing inside her purse.
On the other hand, Lu Chen cleared his throat in an attempt to shake off his fl.u.s.ter. He tried distracting himself by starting the vehicle and driving back to their ho.
Basically, the entire ride ho was filled with awkward silence. Xiu i kept looking out the window since she couldn’t muster herself to look at Lu Chen. Her inner mind was having a turmoil with fl.u.s.ter.
My gawd, she couldn’t believe it.
She really couldn’t believe it. That she was the one who initiated that kiss first.
Was it because of the alcohol? Was she that drunk that she delivered herself to him on her own volition? My god. She is definitely not touching any alcohol anymore for the next few months!
Damn it. Because of her montarily recklessness, she indirectly permitted him to kiss her from now on based on their contract. Oh my god. My god. She was getting crazy ah!
Omg. What kind of spirit possessed her to do that?! Did she get too engrossed into their conversation and suddenly beca playful so she teased him like that? Aaaaahhhh!
Xiu i’s hand flew over her mouth in an attempt to suppress herself getting even more fl.u.s.tered. Lu Chen’s touches and kiss, she couldn’t get it off in her mind at all. It almost felt like his hands were still there and intimately and tenderly touching her.
Damn it! Xiu i, get a grip on yourself already!!
As soon as Lu Chen stopped the car in the garage, Xiu i swiftly climbed off the vehicle and ran back inside the house.
Lu Chen who was caught off guard by her movents at first couldn’t help but chuckle at her reaction. He didn’t suppress the smile that was now plastered on his face as he rembered their kiss before this. He touched his lips and smiled, recalling that mory.
Well, it seems like he’ll be catching her sooner than what he thought ah.
Xiu i who ran back quickly inside the house went straight to Lu Qiang’s room instead of her room. She hastily locked the door as soon as she entered the kid’s room, making Lu Qiang look at her with a baffled expression.
"Mom?" The nanny was the one who tucked him to bed one and a half hours ago but he couldn’t fall asleep so right now, he was just doing so advanced readings on his lessons.
He was a bit startled when his mother suddenly dashed inside his room without knocking, which she usually does before entering. But now, his mother looked a bit anxious and red while standing in front of his door. It was as if she was wary of sothing.
"Mom, are you okay?" Lu Qiang worriedly asked.
He climbed off the bed and hugged her waist, comforting her.
"Hm? Ah, sorry baby. Did I wake you up?"
"No, I was reading sothing. But mommy, are you okay? You look red. Do you have a fever?" He innocently asked.
But when Xiu i heard his questions, she grew even more fl.u.s.tered.
Damn it, her son is so sharp ah! Was she blushing so much that she looked like she has a fever?
"Mommy’s fine. Then baby, should we go to sleep?"
"But Mom, are you going to sleep in that dress? Are you not going to change?"
Xiu i looked at herself. She blinked twice, rembering that she didn’t look ready to sleep at all ah.
She was still in sandals too. Dang it, she was too busy running away she even forgot to remove her sandals.
"Hmm, then Mommy’s gonna tell you stories first then I’ll sleep, okay?"
"Mhm, ’kay."
Lu Qiang nodded. Xiu i carried him back to the bed and started telling him stories to put him to sleep. After finally getting him to sleep, she cleaned up the books that he was reading off his bed and placed them on his study table. She kissed him on his forehead as a goodnight kiss and walked towards the door.
Her hands paused when she reached the door. She hesitated for a bit before finally mustering enough courage to step out of the room.
Peeking her head out along the hallway, she checked if Lu Chen was around the area and thankfully, he wasn’t there at all.
Holding her sandals in her hands, she tiptoed back to her room. She let out a deep sighed of relief after finally returning to her safe zone.
That was really nervewracking ah!
She held her face as she worried about how she was gonna face him tomorrow for breakfast again.
...Can she really face him ah?
After that, Xiu i promptly did her night routine. She took a quick shower to sober herself up and wash off the sll of alcohol on her body.
She was busily applying so toner on her face when soone knocked on her door.
Xiu i was puzzled and checked the ti flashing on the digital clock just beside her bed. It was already past midnight and soone was visiting her room at this hour?
She hesitated to open the door at first so she decided to ask who it was before opening it.
"Who is it?"
"It’s ."
"!!!"
Xiu i’s heart jumped in alert after hearing Lu Chen’s voice.
Oh my god! Oh my gawd!
Her mind turned into a ss as she beca more hesitant to open the door.
Damn it, she wasn’t prepared to face him yet ah!! Isn’t this too fast? Can’t she just see him tomorrow instead?
But even though she wasn’t ready yet, Xiu i still opened the door for him.
"I brought you so water."
There, Lu Chen stood in front of her door with a glass of water. The first few buttons of his dress shirt are unbuttoned revealing his collarbone and his sleeves rolled up to his elbows revealing the slight muscles of his arm.
This isn’t the first ti that Xiu i saw Lu Chen look like this. However, weird enough, Xiu i thought that this ti, he looked so attractive right now that she really wanted to wrap her arms around his neck and stick to him.
Xiu i imdiately removed her perverted thoughts on her head. Damn it, why is she suddenly being like this ah?!
"Thanks." She accepted the glass of water he handed over to her.
"It seems like you had a lot of champagne and c.o.c.ktail at the party so drink a lot more water, okay?"
"Oh."
"Then, goodnight." And with that, Lu Chen turned his back to her and entered his room.
"..."
Xiu i looked at the glass of water she was holding and then the door of Lu Chen’s room.
"...how did he know I drank so c.o.c.ktails?"
If it was the champagne, she was pretty sure that she was drinking that when Lu Chen picked her up so that’s understandable. But how did he know that she drank c.o.c.ktail...?
Then the mory of their french kiss flashed before her eyes again.
"...."
