Ling Chuxia didn’t know what ca to mind, but a trace of panic flashed across her eyes, and she didn’t answer for a mont.

Ling Chuxia’s hand, resting on her knee, unconsciously clenched. She lowered her dark pupils and restrained her gaze, quickly shaking her head, "No."
Although Ling Chuxia tried to control her emotions, when she uttered the word "no," her voice still involuntarily quivered slightly.
However, Mrs. Shi didn’t seem to notice. She was content with Ling Chuxia’s two-word reply. Her lips curled slightly, and she nodded gently, lifting the teacup to take another sip. Her voice softened, "Chuxia, you are too thin now. You should really nourish yourself and take care of your body. That way, it will be better for getting pregnant."

After this, Mrs. Shi talked with Ling Chuxia about sothing else, but Ling Chuxia could hardly hear her. All that was left in her mind was Mrs. Shi’s last sentence about preparing her body for pregnancy.

Her mory hazily drifted back to the last ti she was pregnant when she didn’t want the child and thought about seeing a doctor to abort it. However, the doctor told her that, given her physical condition, if she aborted the child, she might find it difficult to get pregnant again, or she might never be able to have children again.

Ling Chuxia jerked back to reality and suddenly t Mrs. Shi’s sharp eyes. Her dark pupils contracted slightly as she instinctively lowered her eyelids, "Madam, what is it?"
"What’s wrong with you? Just a mont ago you were fine, but suddenly you look so unwell. Are you sick?" Mrs. Shi’s gaze fell on Ling Chuxia’s face, scrutinizing carefully.
Ling Chuxia feared that Mrs. Shi might notice sothing amiss, so she forced a slight smile, "It’s nothing. I probably just didn’t sleep well last night and am feeling a bit dizzy now. You don’t need to worry, Madam."
"Really? Do you want to call a doctor over to check on you?"
