Ji Xinxin’s uniquely radiant face slowly tinged with sadness. She parted her red lips but did not answer the question, rely uttering slowly,

As Ji Xinxin still needed to continue filming, Ling Chuxia couldn’t occupy more of her ti. They agreed to et again another day and then she left the villa.
No sooner had she stepped out of the villa than her phone beeped. She took it out of her purse and glanced at it; it was a reply from Shi Che on WeChat.
"Where are you?"
Ling Chuxia’s lips curled up as she replied, "I’m in the suburbs, ca to see Xinxin. Are you done with your work?"
"Not yet, but I miss you."
Ling Chuxia’s smile deepened. She checked the ti—it was almost lunchti. She rolled her dark eyes and then replied: "Mr. S, do you need takeout?"
"Yes."
His reply was simple and straightforward.

Xiao Chen hurried to the hospital, asked the reception for Ling Yunshu’s ward, and quickly headed there. He barely caught his breath upon entering before his gaze eagerly fell on her, inspecting her sincerely. Noting her pale and troubled face, his heart sank, "Yun Shu, are you alright? What happened that made you faint all of a sudden?"
Ling Yunshu was sitting up in the bed. Seeing Xiao Chen arrive, she lifted her lips slightly, her dark eyes shimring, "I’m fine."
Lately, Ling Yunshu had been in a terrible mood, often gloomy and irritable. But now, seeing her smile, Xiao Chen’s heart slightly eased, and his eyes lit up with a glint of happiness, "Yun Shu, you seem in a good mood today. Did sothing happen?"
"Ling Chuxia has grown soft-hearted towards again."
At this remark from Ling Yunshu, the faint smile on Xiao Chen’s lips instantly vanished.
Ling Yunshu didn’t notice his reaction, continuing to speak selfishly, "I stood outside the villa all night, and she ignored . Ling Yunshu spoke cheerily, a gleam of joy in her eyes, "She softened when I fainted; if I keep up acting, she’ll surely forgive ."
Xiao Chen was too drained to say anything, only managing to remain silent.
Ling Yunshu thought for a mont, then, with a calculating light flashing in her eyes, she suddenly said to Xiao Chen, "Xiao Chen, go and find Chuxia. Tell her I’m in the hospital, refusing to eat or drink, hoping she will co to see ."

Xiao Chen lifted his eyes, his face heavy as he stared at Ling Yunshu brimming with scheming, "Yun Shu..."
Ling Yunshu, uninterested in hearing Xiao Chen speak, simply ordered, "Hurry! Xiaxia isn’t answering my calls, so you have to notify her."
Frowning deeply, Xiao Chen stood still, making no move.
