Placing the warm water beside the bedside table, Ling Chuxia moistened the towel and continued to wipe Shi Che’s face.
Chuxia had beco so natural and familiar with taking care of Shi Che that it didn’t invoke any significant feelings for her, but for Che, it was different.
During those three years, Chuxia’s ticulous care for him was, in his eyes, filled with ulterior motives, and he couldn’t derive the slightest bit of happiness or joy from her attentiveness.
But now, her care ca from the heart, from her feelings for him. Even if it was just a simple face-wipe, he felt enveloped by an intense sense of happiness; his whole body was soft and tender.
With a slight lift of his dark gaze, Che’s eyes landed steadily on Ling Chuxia’s face. The warm light in the bedroom shone on her, and because of their proximity, he could almost see the fine fuzz on her face. At that mont, with her expression serious and focused, she carefully wiped his face with extre gentleness. Che felt as though she wasn’t just wiping his face, but his heart as well.
Watching her, a light of deep intoxication grew in Che’s eyes. He couldn’t help but extend his hand, pulling Chuxia’s slender waist to him and into his embrace. The next second, his thin lips landed on hers.
These days, Che would kiss her sporadically, and Chuxia had grown accustod to it, her surprise lasting only a second or two before she closed her eyes.
Chuxia had been very obedient these days; he would kiss her, and she would close her eyes, letting him kiss her gently, even responding to him. Che was increasingly fond of the sensation of kissing her.
Chuxia thought that Che would just plainly kiss her as before and then hold her to sleep, but she didn’t expect today’s kiss to spiral toward loss of control.
The strength of his kisses increased, his breathing grew ragged, and the arms that held her tightened more forcefully. His kisses began to wander unsatisfied towards the delicate, pale neck, and one hand even slipped under the hem of her clothes.
Chuxia was not inexperienced and understood what Che’s actions implied. Her already-blushed cheeks instantly grew redder, and her hands quickly caught his, gasping slightly as she spoke, "Che, stop!"
Che hadn’t been intimate with Ling Chu for over half a year, and during this week of his recovery, having Chuxia by his side was a constant tease—he could see her, touch her, but not indulge. His long-suppressed desire was now bursting forth uncontrollably.
Che blatantly pretended not to hear Chuxia’s words. With a shift of his arm, she was laid on the bed; he then covered her, continuing to seal her lips to prevent any protest from escaping.
Previously at the hospital, they had had their monts of passion, but he would typically stop when she said no, panting heavily. However, now, he showed no signs of halting.
Chuxia’s brows furrowed tightly, and her struggling grew more vigorous. Her hands pressed against Che’s chest, managing to push him away slightly for a mont. Her eyes, filled with a hint of panic, fixated on Che, "Che, please don’t do this!"
Che, unwilling to stop now, furrowed his brows slightly too. His eyes burned intensely, and the breath he exhaled was scorching, "Chuxia, if you’re worried about my condition, rest assured, I’ve fully recovered. I can definitely handle this~"
