He couldn’t help but rub his eyes, slowly sitting up from the sofa, looking at Shi Che, his voice drowsy, "President Shi, it’s so late, aren’t you sleeping yet?"
He paused, seemingly rembering sothing, and continued, "At this ti, Miss Chuxia must be sleeping already, don’t wait for her reply. Rest early."
Shi Che’s dark eyes faintly gazed out the window, beneath the pitch-black night sky, all was peaceful.
He also knew that at this ti, Ling Chuxia would have been asleep, so he was not waiting for her reply, but for so reason, tonight he felt vaguely restless, as if sothing was tumbling in his chest, tugging at him, preventing him from falling asleep.
He unconsciously felt like he was waiting for sothing.
After a mont, he shifted his gaze away from the night sky, his voice faintly ringing out, "You continue sleeping."
Xiao Zhao knew he couldn’t be persuaded, he could only sigh deeply, then lay down and slowly closed his eyes.
Ti ticked away, the turmoil at Shi Che’s chest beca more real and clear, as if sothing was indeed going to happen. His hand unconsciously reached for his chest, and at the sa ti, he seed to hear footsteps, gradually growing from distant to near.
His dark eyes slightly narrowed, and his heart began to beat wildly without warning, his eyes involuntarily looking towards the hospital room door.
The next second, the door was pushed open, and that deeply ingrained slender figure appeared before him.
"Chuxia..."
Shi Che’s lips parted slightly, his voice murmuring, and before his words even landed, that figure had already dashed towards him, embracing him in an instant.
Shi Che was dumbfounded, and he couldn’t react.

Shi Che’s hand slowly lifted, lightly touching Ling Chuxia’s shoulder, the touch was not illusory, but real. Shi Che blinked again, his eyes instantly brightening, as radiant as the most dazzling star in the night sky.
"Chuxia? It’s really you..." His deep voice was hoarse, trembling, incredulous, and ecstatic.
"It’s ."
Ling Chuxia nodded in his arms, her voice covered by a thick crying tone, indistinct.
Listening to her voice, Shi Che’s eyes hardened, his voice grew even deeper, "Chuxia, why are you crying?"
On her way back to Lin City, Ling Chuxia thought of many things she wanted to tell Shi Che upon seeing him, yet when she actually saw him, it was as though a large cotton ball was stuck in her throat, all the sorrow and grievance suppressed in her heart burst forth.
At the mont she broke ties with Ling Yunshu, she hadn’t cried, but in his arms, she couldn’t hold back any longer.
Right now, she wanted to answer Shi Che’s question, but she couldn’t utter a word, her hands only tightening around Shi Che more, tears falling drop by drop.
