"Chuxia, what exactly are the two text ssages you ntioned all about? What do they have to do with the child?"
Shi Che quickly typed this ssage and then clicked send. The screen paused for a few seconds, showing the ssage was sent successfully. Shi Che pondered for a mont, his fingers once again dancing over the virtual keyboard, "I don’t know what that supposed text ssage said, but Chuxia, I never didn’t want your child, never."
"Knowing you had a child, I was indeed very angry, but Chuxia... my anger has never outweighed my love for you."
After sending these three texts, Shi Che stared at his phone almost unblinkingly. However, the sent text ssages seed to have sunk into the sea without any response.
Shi Che’s chest filled with threads of disappointnt, his hand holding the phone slightly trembling. He stared at the phone screen for a long ti, his fingers quivering as he sent out another text ssage.
"Even if... you want to sentence to death, at least... let know what I did wrong."
In his entire life, Shi Che had probably never been so humble, not even in front of his domineering mother or the various people in the marketplace. His manner was always proud and indifferent, except when facing Ling Chuxia, he seed to lower himself into the dust, so low... as if he wasn’t himself anymore.

Ling Chuxia returned ho two hours later.
A night of fear and unable to sleep, coupled with the confrontation with Shi Che in the morning, made her feel utterly exhausted. As soon as Ling Chuxia got ho, she felt her head heavy and dizzy. She casually threw her bag on the table and collapsed into the sofa, her eyes closed, and she promptly lost consciousness.
Ling Chuxia didn’t know how long she had slept. When she hazily woke up, it was already completely dark outside. She sat up dazedly and looked up at the wall clock; it was already past nine at night.
Ling Chuxia slowly stood up, planning to go to the kitchen for a glass of water, but she accidentally kicked the corner of the table; the table shifted, causing the bag on it to fall down, and her phone slid out.
Ling Chuxia’s gaze involuntarily shifted to the phone, rembering the two calls Shi Che had made before she turned it off. Her hand slowly clenched, reminding herself repeatedly not to touch things she shouldn’t, yet always failing to follow her own advice.
She slightly bent down, picked up the phone, and pressed the power button.
As soon as the phone turned on, even without being unlocked, the screen displayed several missed calls, and text ssages...
Ling Chuxia stared intently at the screen for a while and finally, her fingers lightly moved to unlock the phone and open the ssages.
After reading four text ssages, Ling Chuxia’s heartbeat slowly accelerated.
Shi Che said he didn’t know about the text ssage and that he had never rejected her child. But he had clearly sent a text ssage, clearly said such heartless words.
Why could he still appear so innocent now?
Just now when she asked him, didn’t he also admit in person that he had said such things?
But... my anger has never outweighed my love for you.
These thirteen characters suddenly clutched her heart tightly, making her breathing hasten.
