Shi Che couldn’t stop Ling Chuxia in ti because he was stunned by her words.

Shi Che tried to get up and chase after Ling Chuxia, but every bone in his body seed to ache. He forced himself to get up, but he always fell back halfway, gasping for air, his body covered in cold sweat from the pain.

A frown creased Shi Che’s brow as he threw his phone onto the bed in frustration. Then he narrowed his eyes slightly and carefully recalled the words Ling Chuxia had said.

But he had never sent Chuxia a ssage saying he didn’t want the child!

She had tried so hard for so long to restrain herself from thinking about Shi Che, from loving him, from being so humble.

Ling Chuxia’s body weakly squatted down, her hands around her knees, sobbing fiercely.
After a while, Ling Chuxia’s crying gradually stopped. Her eyes, already sowhat red and swollen, now looked terrifyingly swollen and sore. Ling Chuxia’s hands, resting on the sink, clenched gradually tighter. She looked intently at herself in the mirror for a long while, then took her phone out of her pocket and made a call.
Not long after Ling Chuxia ran out, a nurse ca in for rounds, found Shi Che sitting on the floor, and hurriedly helped him onto the bed, even scolding him. Given his current condition, he must rest in bed and not move around carelessly, or else he would only add to his injuries.
Shi Che ignored the nurse’s words, his dark eyes fixed steadily on the doorway of the hospital room.
