Lin Shasha was shocked by her own idea, but upon second thought, if President Shi was pursuing Chuxia, that would be absolutely wonderful. However, sothing seed amiss between the two of them.
Lin Shasha glanced at Ling Chuxia and then at Shi Che. After thinking it over—and for the sake of the sumptuous lunches every day—she decided to give Shi Che a hand.

While she spoke, Lin Shasha pulled Ling Chuxia back, opened the car door, and stuffed Ling Chuxia into the front passenger seat before closing the door. Then, with a smile in her eyes, she turned to Shi Che standing by and said, "President Shi, we’ll trouble you to safely take our Xiaxia ho."
Lin Shasha’s actions were sudden and left both Ling Chuxia and Shi Che sowhat unable to react. However, Shi Che was quick to respond; his dark eyes swept towards Lin Shasha, and the corners of his lips curved slightly in a mild tone, "Is this Miss Lin Shasha?"
"Wow, President Shi actually rembers ! I’m so excited! Yes, yes, it’s , Lin Shasha."
Shi Che was usually cold to unfamiliar won, but knowing that Ling Chuxia and the woman before him were good friends, his expression lost its indifference and aloofness. Looking at her, his voice involuntarily carried a hint of gratitude, "Thank you."
After a pause, he whispered, "Do you need a ride ho as well?"
President Shi is thanking ! Lin Shasha’s heart trembled, but upon hearing Shi Che’s next words, she quickly composed her expression and shook her head.
She wouldn’t choose to be a third wheel at this ti. She replied, "No need, it’s not on the way. Anyway, I have an umbrella. Just take Xiaxia ho."
A faint smile erged on Shi Che’s handso face, and the light in his dark eyes was as gentle as water. His voice beca even softer as he said again, "Thank you."
Lin Shasha almost lost her soul to his smile, and she stood there stunned, her eyes sparkling pink as she watched the car drive away.

Outside the car, the rain poured down heavily, pattering noisily inside the car, yet inside the cabin, there was a deathly silence.
Ling Chuxia sat slightly sideways, facing towards the car window and mostly turning her back to Shi Che. It was a silent gesture of resistance.
Shi Che’s hand tightened on the steering wheel, but upon seeing her body tremble slightly from the cold, he still reached forward to turn up the car’s heating. Then, at a red light, he took off his suit jacket and draped it over Ling Chuxia.
Feeling the jacket ward by Shi Che’s body envelop her, Ling Chuxia’s body involuntarily shivered violently, reflexively trying to shake off Shi Che’s hand. Yet, Shi Che’s voice slowly arose behind her, "Even if you hate , you don’t need to be so harsh on your own body. If you fall ill again, you’ll end up seeing even more."
Shi Che’s voice was faint, but Ling Chuxia still caught the threatening undertone. She gritted her teeth, her expression cold, but she did no more.
Shi Che’s lips imperceptibly curled up as the green light ca on. He settled back into his seat and started the car.
