Listening to Mrs. Shi’s inquiry, Sister Hua hurriedly shook her head and then her face lit up with a slight smile as she replied, "Madam, you needn’t worry anymore, the young master’s fever has subsided."
"Subsided?"
Although Mrs. Shi was worried about Shi Che, she was montarily stunned to hear that the fever that had persisted for several days had suddenly broken. However, she quickly let out a sigh of relief, her eyes brightening with a hint of joy, "Wonderful, wonderful, the fever has finally broken, that’s such good news."
If this had continued, who knows whether it would have damaged his brain.
Mrs. Shi looked at Shi Che with palpable excitent, then turned to Sister Hua and said, "Che’er hasn’t eaten much these past few days, go and instruct the kitchen to prepare so light als, so that when Che’er wakes up, he can eat."
"Yes, Madam."
Sister Hua imdiately stood up and headed towards the door, her mind busy with thoughts - what to eat, what to drink, none as effective as the dicine given by Miss Chuxia, truly an Immortal Pill!

By the ti Shi Che woke up, it was already afternoon.
Sister Hua had been constantly by Shi Che’s side, and as soon as she saw him awake, her eyes shining brightly, she exclaid, "Young master, you’re awake? How do you feel now? Are you feeling better?"
Shi Che’s dark eyes lazily moved, resting upon Sister Hua’s face as he fixated his gaze on her. A flurry of images rapidly flooded back into his mind, and he intently stared at Sister Hua.
His lips were parched and colorless, his throat extrely dry, and his voice, though raspy, was somber and deliberate as he said, "Sister Hua, was what you told last night true?"
Those words, were they real, not a dream he had, nor a hallucination from his fever, right?
Sister Hua paused, not expecting that upon waking, the young master would forego concern for his own health and instead press her about what she said the previous day. Just how deep were the young master’s feelings for Miss Chuxia? Unfortunately, the two of them...
She couldn’t help but sigh softly, then gently responded, "Yes, young master, everything I said was true, not a single word of falsehood."
It was true...
Shi Che’s body involuntarily shuddered, the flicker of light in his eyes dancing, as his hands trembled unconsciously.
Chuxia had not heard his confession, so all this ti, she was unaware of his love for her. Then, did he still have a chance to confess again, to tell her how he felt?
Those deeply dormant eyes of Shi Che suddenly brightened, as if flas had kindled within them, burning fiercely. Yet, the mories of everything in Lin City ca flooding back.
Even if Chuxia hadn’t heard his previous confession, what about that night? He had expressed his feelings by playing Dream Wedding for her, and she had understood, yet she...
And finally, her words, "Honestly, we’re already divorced, now... each of us has our own destiny, it would be awkward, I hope that we never see each other again, and if we do, please treat as a stranger."
Her stance was so firm, her words so rciless, that even now, recalling them pierced sharply through his heart.
He and Chuxia, did they truly have no future together?
If there was no future... why had God arranged to give him hope again at the mont he was utterly in despair?
