Miss Chuxia glanced at the table full of food but felt no appetite at all; in fact, she even felt a bit nauseous.

Shi Che looked at her, his voice still very faint; he casually spoke, "Eat."

Ling Chuxia did not want to eat, but at this mont, she did not want to fall out with Shi Che either, especially since she hadn’t yet gotten her hands on the contract for their collaborative project. It was just for a little while, she could endure it.

Ling Chuxia reached for the chopsticks and grabbed them tightly before casually picking up a durian pastry and slowly eating it. Shi Che, on the other hand, took an empty bowl, spooned so Red Bean Porridge into it, and pushed it in front of her, "Don’t you like Red Bean Porridge? Eat more."

With her face downcast, Ling Chuxia humd softly, but her hand did not touch the bowl of Red Bean Porridge.

The silence fell suddenly between them, no one spoke again, they just silently ate, but in reality, neither of them ate much.

After about two minutes, Ling Chuxia stopped first, she took a napkin and wiped the corners of her lips, signaling that she was full.

Yet, Shi Che, as if he hadn’t seen anything, continued to eat his breakfast unhurriedly. Ling Chuxia could tell that he also didn’t have much of an appetite, but he just kept eating, extrely slowly.

Ling Chuxia checked her phone several tis, the minutes ticked by while Shi Che continued eating. Her eyebrows slightly furrowed, and a hint of impatience inevitably flashed in her eyes.

She really wanted to ask Shi Che what he really wanted to do. With the final monts at hand, couldn’t they just cleanly part ways?

However, after taking several deep breaths, she ended up forcibly suppressing the urge.

Small impatience spoils great plans. Rember, rember!

Another five minutes passed, and Shi Che finally stopped. He picked up a cup of tea and took a sip, slowly swallowing before taking a napkin to wipe the corners of his lips, and when he looked up, he saw the undisguised impatience in Ling Chuxia’s eyes.

The light in his eyes dimd, his hands trembled slightly. Although he just consud a lot of sweets, all he tasted was bitterness, spreading from his throat to his heart, so bitter that his whole body seed to tremble.

It turned out, he really couldn’t be greedy. He had selfishly asked for ten days of her ti, and now, she would not even give him a second more.

Shi Che, it’s ti to let go. Really... it’s ti to let go.

A lifelong obsession, so much love given for so much ti, yet he had never realized that letting go would be such a brief mont.

Shi Che gave a bitter smile. He wiped his face forcefully, then picked up the contract and handed it to Ling Chuxia.

"I have signed the contract; our ten-day agreent ends here," Shi Che’s voice was hoarse, restrained to maintain calmness as he struggled to say these words.

When the words fell, it felt as if all was settling like dust. His heart ached fiercely, starting from the deepest part of his heart, it was being torn apart and pulled, gradually bleeding.

Ling Chuxia looked at the contract Shi Che handed over; she thought Shi Che might be playing so trick again, but he really handed it over to her.

Ling Chuxia stared at the contract, dazed for a second or two, but the mont passed quickly. Then as she reached out to take the contract, Shi Che did not let go easily, instead, gripping it a bit tight.
