The suitcase wasn’t actually heavy, but when she tried to pick it up, her hands suddenly couldn’t muster the strength; all her energy had seemingly vanished.
Chuxia tried two or three tis to lift the suitcase without success, her pale cheeks turning bright red as her heart pounded furiously.
Shi Che had been silent the whole ti, but she could still feel his gaze heavily resting on her. Seeing her like this, would he think she was deliberately dawdling, intentionally delaying?
