Chapter 842: 264. Mira’s Dilemma_3
Noland Lee speculated that if he were to beco a Sea Monster, he would have the qualifications to be served up on the dining table…
The fourth weakness of the Fem Demon Territory was the “Soul Stagnation Field”.
The soul-stagnating techniques used by the Dragon Clan to enslave all creatures could also render the Queen’s Domain, which was driven by souls, ineffective.
He had to admit that the Queen’s Domain, which left Selena feeling utterly hopeless, wasn’t completely unsolvable after all.
But there was more intelligence to be gleaned from the Deconstruction.
Like many magic barriers, the Magic Barrier that constituted the Queen’s Domain also had a concept known as Energy Nodes.
The Energy Nodes were its weak spots.
Destroying these nodes could yield twice the result with half the effort, catching the enemy off guard.
If the ‘Weaknesses’ section of the Queen’s Domain panel resolved the strategic question of “how to assault the Queen’s Domain,”
then the Energy Nodes, marked as light points in Noland’s Magic Vision by the System, solved the tactical question of “where to strike.”
Combining the two, along with the right magical device or spell, the Queen’s Domain would naturally not be a challenge anymore.
“Hmm~ not bad, not bad~
“Although spending these tens of millions of Energy Points is sowhat painful, at least I’ve learned all there is to know about the Queen’s Domain.
“In the future, when the timing is right, I’ll sell this intelligence for a good price.
“How about setting up a tiered mbership system with monthly paynts…”
As Noland pondered the sale of his intelligence, he opened the mory Fragnt he had acquired to inspect it.
One mory Fragnt was titled, “Orders from Queen Isidora”.
The contents of this mory Fragnt made Noland frown.
The regular forces of the Sirens Kingdom appeared en masse at the seabed of Subsea No.13, following the Sea Monster Queen’s orders.
Their purpose was to demonstrate the authority of Sea Monsters in the Deep Sea domain and to force the Human Wizards of the Suman Archipelago to submit to the Queen’s will.
Apart from the Queen’s Barrier, the Sea Monsters had also prepared another powerful Deep Sea magic.
This was bad news for the Treasure Hunting Fleets above the sea surface.
But there was also good news.
The Sea Monsters didn’t want to start a war with Human Wizards, nor did they want to reveal too many secrets.
The Sea Monsters appearing in Subsea No.13 belonged to an army numbered “Dreadscale Defense South 115th Army”, and there were no Wildtide Elders or Legendary Deep Sea Beasts among them.
Noland was reviewing the mory Fragnt when an unexpected figure burst into his Magic Vision.
It was a frail Old Man.
He had cast “Pressure Relief” and “Underwater Breathing Technique” on himself.
Descending from a far distance above to the seabed, he swam straight towards the Queen’s Domain.
Several mbers of the Dreadscale Vanguard left the Pirate Ship fleet and t with the Old Man outside the Queen’s Domain.
The Dreadscale Vanguard handed a bag to the other party.
The Old Man bowed and accepted it, then returned the way he ca, heading for the silhouette of the boat on the sea surface.
“Isn’t that Butler Bowles, the one who likes robust maids?”
Noland threw a Deconstruction spell at the Old Man, then moved his Magic Vision away from him.
Bowles was a Seventh-Ring Wizard, a non-combat wizard.
His mind might be fragile, but he was much more sensitive than the Sea Monsters and could easily detect Noland’s covert observation.
Noland consud so Energy Points to launch Deconstruction on him.
[System ssage:]
[You have consud 3477 Points of Energy and refreshed the panel information of “Bowles”.]
[You have obtained recent mory Fragnts of “Bowles”:]
[mory Fragnt One: “Bowles being served by sturdy maids on a Luxury Magical chanical Ship”, completeness 100%]
[mory Fragnt Two: “Bowles in the master’s Guest Room, lecherously eyeing Mira Faar”, completeness 100%]
[mory Fragnt Three: “Bowles cooperating with Sea Monsters to detonate Sea Monster Poison Bombs on the master’s Sailing Ship”, completeness 100%]
[…(The rest is omitted)]
Noland opened the first mory Fragnt and inwardly cursed at its blinding content.
Noland opened the second mory Fragnt and inwardly praised the good legs, good figure.
Noland opened the third mory Fragnt and thought to himself that the guy was a sly old fox.
Bowles, sensing that his sche was about to be uncovered, decided to collaborate with the Sea Monsters and detonate a large quantity of Sea Monster Poison Bombs on Yorksim’s ship.
This bomb attack would cause chaos in Subsea No.13, helping the Sea Monsters at the seabed to divert most of the attention.
The Guest Room housing Yorksim would receive Bowles’ special attention.
At this mont, Mira Faar was conferring with Yorksim inside the Guest Room.
Both were inside the Guest Room.
With his status as a housekeeper, Bowles could move freely throughout the entire ship and wouldn’t be detected by the guarding Demon Spirit Wizards.
If he managed to place the Sea Monster Poison Bombs in the Guest Room, then wouldn’t all Noland’s efforts tonight be in vain?
Noland considered his options while keeping an eye on the Magic Vision.
After Bowles left with the Bomb, the Pirate Ship fleet, which had been inactive for so ti, underwent a change.
A thousand Sea Monster soldiers erged from the ships, assembling beneath the do of the Queen’s Domain.
Gathering in groups, they floated in the Sea Water, forming so kind of casting array.
Dark Green energy, like chains, linked the tridents in the hands of the Sea Monster soldiers together.
All thousand Sea Monster soldiers poured the Deep Sea Magic Power from within themselves into the energy chains.
The tail end of the energy chains was connected to the pointed tails of three Queen’s Devotees.
Surging Deep Sea Magic flowed along the chains and into the bodies of the Queen’s Devotees, whose siren songs grew increasingly loud.
“Are the Sea Monsters jointly casting the Deep Sea magic from the Queen’s plans, or are they expanding the Queen’s Domain?”
