Chapter 768: 244. Start Hunting_3

Noland Lee even guessed that this so-called “Dark Scale Elder” was not human, and he was highly likely to be a sea monster from the Sirens Kingdom.

To track such an enemy was very troubleso.

After careful consideration, Noland Lee temporarily abandoned the idea of searching for the Dark Scale Elder.

Instead, he focused on digging up clues about pirates looting ocean-going ships.

Upon investigation, Noland Lee almost couldn’t help but laugh.

The Charnel Family had a total of 33 ocean transportation companies in the Suman Archipelago.

Inside each transportation company, there were at least 20 magic chanical ships.

Noland Lee used Deconstruction to observe all 33 ocean transportation companies.

He found that in each company, there were at least two Tide Spies, all in positions where they could schedule ship’s routes…

These guys calculated the routes so that so of the magic chanical ships carrying important goods would pass through deserted deep-sea zones late at night.

Dark skies and strong winds, high waves – it was the perfect timing for pirates to loot ocean-going ships.

Noland Lee recorded the information of these ships.

He casually killed two Tide Spies, sent their severed heads to Lape Charnel as proof of his effort, and then followed the ship information to the place where the pirates were ambushing the ships.

Noland Lee had already thought it through.

He would deal with both catching spies and clearing pirates with both hands.

He would send one or two spies’ heads to Charnel every day to prove that he was working hard.

At the sa ti, he would always appear at the pirates’ cri scenes ahead of ti and clean out the pirates.

After successfully doing this a few tis, the pirates would realize that there was a problem with the intelligence network they had planted in the Charnel Family.

They would imdiately adjust their intelligence network.

By then, he might be able to find the traces of the Dark Scale Elder through “Mind Tracking” and Deconstruction.

That was Noland Lee’s plan.

Starting with the first sweep of pirates tonight.

Treasure Sea Area No.149.

Sea water temperature is 26 degrees.

Surface wind speed is 18 kiloters per hour.

Sea surface fluctuation is minimal, wave height is 0.5 ters.

Mild whitecaps, cloudy weather, and poor lighting.

In the sea water at a depth of 80 ters, where the moonlight cannot reach.

Ten pirate ships emitting a dim green light were quietly heading towards their designated targets under the push of the Water Flow Array.

Inside the portholes of the pirate ship, the sea monsters roared and gathered in the largest cabin on the middle deck.

The place, which was originally a dining hall for humans to have parties, had been transford into a bizarre ritual site for sea monsters.

Four blood-stained totem pillars stood in the center of the scene.

Many spikes made of bones extended from the totem pillars, piercing dripping limbs and unidentified pieces of flesh.

On the floor surrounding the totem pillars, there were bloody patterns ford by filthy blood and bone fragnts.

The leading sea monster stood in front of the two-ter-tall totem pillar, opened its big mouth on its inverted triangle head, and revealed its sharp teeth.

It opened its arms and howled loudly.

A group of sea monsters behind it followed suit, with their arms outstretched, frantically screaming towards the totem pillar.

The high-pitched cries grew louder and louder, and the four totem pillars underwent slight changes.

The blood-stained pillars, like skinned arms, twisted a few tis.

Accompanied by a few sticky sounds, four indifferent eyes opened in the center of the four totem pillars.

There was one eye on each totem pillar.

These four eyes swept over the sea monsters on the scene and imdiately exploded with a bang, turning into blood beads that scattered and drilled into the eye sockets of the sea monsters.

The forked horns on the sea monsters’ heads were originally dark green.

But after the blood beads drilled into their eyes, their antennae instantly turned red, like red-hot iron sticks, emitting a dazzling strong light.

At the sa ti, their eyes turned bloodshot, their joints grew bone spurs, and their bodies swelled in size, becoming more and more burly.

The sa scene happened on ten pirate ships at the sa ti.

It was clear that this was a kind of pre-battle preparation involving disgusting sacrifices and filled with perversion and filth.

The sea monsters gained so sort of power boost, becoming more powerful and cruel.

The information fed back by Deconstruction intuitively displayed the changes before and after.

Originally, the sea monsters had a combat strength of about Level 50.

After being strengthened by the totem pillars, their combat power skyrocketed, reaching the highest level of 65, becoming comparable to a Sixth Ring Battle Wizard.

There were 100 sea monsters on each of the ten pirate ships, totaling one thousand sea monsters.

The type of sea monsters included tide hunters who were good at tracking, tide guards who were good at defending ships, and furious tide warriors who were good at attacking.

Facing such a group of powerful team of pirates, Noland Lee figured out so clues.

Last ti he saw the pirate ships and pirates, he didn’t notice the traces of the totem pillars.

This was the first ti he saw totem pillars that could open their eyes and strengthen the sea monsters on a pirate ship.

Noland Lee observed secretly and thought for a while, drawing the conclusion:

The pirates would adjust the number of sea monsters flexibly according to the strength and value of the targets they looted.

When the number of sea monsters reached one thousand, the pirates would put in the totem pillars that strengthened the sea monsters.

Noland Lee hid himself 30 kiloters away from the pirate ship in the seawater.

He observed the pirate ship with “Mind View” and threw a bunch of Deconstruction Techniques.

“Hmm… after being strengthened, the sea monsters’ minds beco crazier and more bloodthirsty, and they gain the ‘Bloodthirsty Addiction’ feature, and their ‘ntal Health Bar’ should also beco much longer.”

Noland Lee pondered the Deconstruction Results in his mind:

“Due to limited combat data, the system couldn’t predict the exact length of the ‘ntal Health Bar’.

“I need to use ‘Psychic Bombardnt’ to attack a sea monster first to get the relevant combat data. If the sea monsters’ ‘ntal Health Bar’ is too long, I may have to change plans to annihilate them completely…”

Noland Lee used the word “annihilate.”

If others heard that he, as a First Rank Wizard, planned to annihilate 1,000 sea monsters who were comparable to Five-Ring Battle Wizards, they would only laugh at his foolishness and arrogance.

But Noland Lee was not joking; he did have a way to annihilate all the sea monsters present, and not just by using the ‘Psychic Bombardnt’ technique.
