Chapter 739: 235. Pretty reasonable, right? _3

“Hello, Jarvis, can you hear my voice?”

This tal tube was an intercom device between the cabins.

Noland Lee leaned towards the pipe exit and said:

“What’s the matter, Hadley?”

“Well, a Charnel family’s Magic chanical Ship has appeared on our course. They signaled with a Magic Lamp, asking us to stop and accept an inspection.”

Hadley paused for a mont:

“I estimated it should be just a routine check or sothing, I’ve encountered this many tis before, it won’t take too long.”

“Wait a mont, I’ll co to the control room to find you.”

Noland Lee stood up and walked past Vipa’s guestroom to the control room where Hadley was.

At that mont, Hadley was observing the distant sailing ship with his Magic Mirror Lens.

It was a brightly lit Magic chanical Ship with various colored light points flashing constantly, its displacent far exceeded their Magic Yacht, and it even had a speedy Magic Speedboat with it.

Due to the Mist Threshold, any overspeeding behavior on the sea surface is unwise, as it would be considered a provocative act by the Charnel family’s patrol ships on the sea and be sunk on the spot.

Choosing to put their magical engine into dormant mode when facing a scene where they were ordered to stop and wait for inspection by a Magic Lamp was a wise choice.

Noland Lee took out his telescope, looked at the emblem and number on the Magic chanical Ship, and the corner of his mouth raised slightly.

He had found traces of this ship while reviewing Sea Monsters’ mory fragnts, and had expected the other party to intercept their Magic Yacht on the seas.

The reason being that the captain of the Magic chanical Ship was a high-level Dread Sail Pirate spy planted within the Charnel family.

This man was nad Parika, who, on the surface, was a Deep-sea Combat Wizard who graduated from Deep Sea Branch and had Sixth Ring Strength.

But in reality, while holding a dual role as a Deep-sea Wizard, he was also a Sixth Ring Dread Sail Wizard and a genuine high-level Undertow Spy.

His superior was the Tide Elder, the person or Sea Monster who issued the Plunder Sacrifice Order Book.

Considering that the Dread Sail Wizards who were Tide Spies were the claws of Sea Monsters spying on the Suman Archipelago, the likelihood that the Tide Elder was a Sea Monster was high.

As Parika was both a Sixth Ring Deep Sea Battle Wizard and Sixth Ring Dread Sail Wizard, he was absolutely unmatched in talent and rich in combat experience.

He must have been a top contender among his peers as a Combat Wizard.

Noland Lee was curious about what virtues and abilities the Tide Elder possessed to subdue such a character under his command.

But whether it was admiration or curiosity, Noland Lee had no intention of sparing Parika’s life.

“Hadley, stop the ship.”

As he spoke, Noland Lee took a brand new loose-leaf notebook out of his Magic Pouch.

Hadley adjusted the magical engine with his liquid palm, glanced at Noland’s notebook and imdiately went into a daze:

“What the… what is this? Jarvis. I’m not seeing things, am I? There’s a huge notebook that can be disassembled at any ti, and every page is a Life-and-death Duel Application Form?!”

“Yes, is it strange?” Noland smiled indifferently:

“As a First Rank Wizard who can initiate life-and-death duels with anyone, carrying a notebook full of application forms with is perfectly reasonable, isn’t it? What’s so surprising about that? Ah, of course, I can’t initiate life-and-death duels with Wizard Apprentices, as their rank is even lower than mine.”

Hadley was stunned for a mont:

“Well, yes, you can initiate life-and-death duels with anyone who is not a Wizard Apprentice. But what are you taking this thing out for now?”

Noland grinned:

“What else? I’ll duel anyone who displeases .”

Not only did that Magic chanical Ship have Parika, a high-level Undertow spy, but also many other suspicious characters.

Noland Lee did not intend to let any of them off the hook.
