Chapter 1429: Ending 1: The Fire of No Regrets

“I’m back, I’m really back,” he said.
Noland Lee clenched his fists and vigorously waved them through the air.
“Although I don’t know what you’ve experienced in the illusion that makes you this excited after breaking free, you’re right, you have indeed co back,” the voice of the Assassin Angel ca through, calming Noland Lee down slightly:
“Your recovery rate is much faster than I expected, it seems the aftermath caused by the illusion is lighter than I had imagined.”
Noland Lee lifted his head, staring at the true form of the Assassin Angel for several seconds, then turned to look at the Order Plane’s Core avatar, as various thoughts whirred through his mind.
...
If everything continued to unfold like the failure he had experienced before, the Assassin Angel would be ambushed at the B-76 space station in just over ten days, sustaining serious injuries and disappearing without a trace.
The “Reality” planetosphere that the Order Plane’s Core controlled would also suffer a devastating attack from the Void Spears. All of its players would die, and he would end up just like the Assassin Angel.
Noland Lee wanted to change all of that.
He desperately sought the point where he could break through.
So where was this breakthrough point?
What was the process of the ambush on the Assassin Angel like?
And why did the “Reality” planetosphere, which the Order Plane’s Core had in its grasp, suddenly get discovered by the Void Spears?
Wasn’t that planet protected by a barrier created by Senati?
Could it be that there was a problem with the barrier protecting the planet…
Noland Lee’s gaze flickered, his eyes narrowing slightly.
He had a premonition that the key to breaking the deadlock must lie with Senati.
How could this Ti and Evolution Angel, whose strength had greatly diminished, be completely unaware and unresponsive to the ambush of the Assassin Angel?
Take for instance the players currently attacking the Angel’s Voice Space Station.
It was only because of Senati’s advice that Noland Lee chose to ignite the Magic Bomb ahead of ti, helping the players push the front line forward, while he himself arrived ahead of schedule at the vicinity of the brainstem core to rescue the Assassin Angel.
If Senati could foresee the general course of this battle, helping Noland Lee avoid the fatal “Space Erasure,” then why didn’t he foresee the ambush on the Assassin Angel?
Sothing was fishy.
Sothing was very fishy.
There definitely was a problem.
“Boom, boom, boom—”
The noise of combat echoed from the remote periphery of the space station, compressed into a deep roar by the interlacing tal corridors.
“Let’s change locations before we talk,” Noland Lee pressed down the questions in his heart and gestured outside with his hand.
The Order Plane’s Core avatar spoke:
“You guys go first, I’ll cover the rear and clear up the ritual materials while I’m at it.”
The Assassin Angel nodded slightly and waved her hand, throwing a purple mist satin ribbon toward Noland Lee, signaling for him to hold onto it.
Noland Lee caught the satin ribbon with his right hand and wrapped it around his arm a few tis.
The figure of the Assassin Angel moved like lightning, whooshing as she swept up Noland Lee and dashed through the tal corridors at dizzyingly fast speeds.
Noland Lee focused his attention behind him.
Last ti, after he had struggled free from the illusion, it was also the Assassin Angel who took him away, and the Order’s avatar was responsible for dealing with the ritual materials.
This ant that after restarting this experience, the actions of the Assassin Angel and the Order had not changed.
At least not yet.
If nothing unexpected happened, in a little while, the Assassin Angel would take him to an uninhabited planet, inquire about the vision within the illusion, then reveal a snippet of true history, and after that head to the Order’s planetosphere to et with Senati.
If he wanted to find a breakthrough with Senati, the best opportunity would be to accompany the Assassin Angel to visit this Ti and Evolution Angel.
However, by doing so, the Angel’s Voice Space Station’s battlefield would only be monitored by the Order— could there be an accident?
Last ti, despite Noland Lee’s behind-the-scenes help, the tal Ancestor Dragon still managed to snatch away the players known as Cucumber Slice, Winter lon, and Kelp.
If this ti only the Order was watching, could the tal Ancestor Dragon snatch away dozens, or even hundreds of players at once?
Noland Lee realized that he had invisibly reached the first turning point in the event’s developnt.
To stand firm on the battlefield and prevent the tal Ancestor Dragon from snatching players, or to go with the Assassin Angel to et Senati…
Noland Lee, comparing against the mories in his mind, calculated the ti, seeking to find a perfect ti gap that would interconnect the two events.
A light gradually lit up in his eyes!
That’s right! He could have it all.
First, use magic to create a doppelganger to accompany the Assassin Angel to et Senati, then imdiately switch his focus to the battlefield to cope with the Ancestral Dragons’ major onslaught.
As long as he was quick enough, neither task would hinder the other.
The only question was, would Senati agree to see him?
Senati was willing to see the Assassin Angel, purely because she had been verified through the Order.
The title of Assassin Angel alone was enough to warrant Senati’s attention to this Angel.
But Noland Lee considered himself a re mortal; even with the Assassin Angel’s recomndation, it would likely be hard to see Senati.
After all, Senati was in a very weak state right now, and had to be on guard against surprise attacks from Extraterrestrial Eternity.
To see as few outsiders as possible was what a qualified Angel ought to do.
Otherwise, given Senati’s current condition, they might have already been caught off guard, trusting soone they shouldn’t, and killed by Extraterrestrial Eternity.
“What should I do? How can I persuade the Assassin Angel to take to see Senati?”
