Chapter 1386: 456. Well-inford_2

Just after withdrawing to a safe zone, the tal Ancestor Dragon issued a roar full of unwillingness and resentnt:

“Damn reptile! What on earth killed my clone! Who is thwarting ?! Blast it, I was so close to success! So very close!!”

The frenzied state of the tal Ancestor Dragon sowhat stunned the Assassin Angel.

Considering the orders the opponent had given to its Outer Space clone, and the fact that the clone in Outer Space had been mysteriously killed by so unknown entity, the Assassin Angel almost instinctively thought of Noland Lee, who was lingering in Outer Space…

Could it have been Noland Lee who caused the tal Ancestor Dragon’s plot in Outer Space to fail?

With this idea in mind, the Assassin Angel returned to the Spinning Continent and consulted with the Scroll Angel.

...

The two “people” thought it over, and instead of blindly guessing in the Inner Cosmos, they decided it was better to directly contact Noland Lee in Outer Space to ask for details.

If it just so happened that Noland Lee was the one who had thwarted the tal Ancestor Dragon’s plan, then that would be even better.

Thus, a ceremony initiated from the Inner Cosmos targeting Outer Space began.

Before long, the Scroll Angel standing in the center of the Array sensed Noland Lee, who seed to be moving at high speed.

After patiently waiting for about ten seconds, Noland Lee entered a stationary state and connected to the “long-distance call” from the Scroll Angel.

“Did you just have a confrontation with the tal Ancestor Dragon?” the Scroll Angel asked imdiately.

Noland Lee’s heart skipped a beat:

“You know already? Oh, right, right, the Assassin Angel has always been monitoring that old dragon. It’s normal for you to know.”

The Scroll Angel and the Assassin Angel exchanged glances, their expressions seeming to say, indeed, it was as they had thought.

The Scroll Angel continued to inquire:

“What happened between you two? Why does that old dragon seem so furious and flustered?”

Noland Lee had just teleported with the Snow-winged Cat to the Dean’s office room.

He pulled out a chair, sat down with a plunk, and vividly described his actions with the Command Plane’s Core.

From orchestrating a massive disconnect of players, to using Soul Constructs as bait to hook the Angel Enterprises Alliance, to discovering the tal Ancestor Dragon’s clone tampering with the warp routes of the transport ships, and so on and so forth.

By the ti he finished narrating this long series of events, nearly a quarter of an hour had passed.

At the end of the story, Noland Lee gave himself and the Command a fair evaluation:

“We only used a ship’s worth of Soul Constructs as a price to severely damage the Redemption Angel Group Fleet of the Angel Enterprise Alliance, destroy the Dark Galaxy of the tal Creation Group, and even make the tal Ancestor Dragon furious with urgency. That counts as investing one unit of effort for a threefold return, doesn’t it?”

After listening, the Scroll Angel pondered for a few seconds before speaking:

“So, is the tal Ancestor Dragon so angry because you blocked its clone from plundering the Soul Constructs twice in a row?”

Noland Lee cocked his head slightly, then firmly nodded:

“Right. Based on the sequence of events, that seems to be the case.”

The Scroll Angel muttered to himself in puzzlent:

“What does the tal Ancestor Dragon want with the Soul Constructs?”

The Scroll Angel turned his head to et the gaze of the Assassin Angel.

As their eyes t, inspiration struck, and both blurted out in unison:

“It’s for exploring the Illusion Space.”

“Uh, what Illusion Space?” Noland Lee, hearing the two through the ritual array, asked.

The Scroll Angel organized his thoughts and recounted the events that had taken place 30 kiloters underground at Alchemist Island over the past period of ti.

Noland Lee listened while flipping through the Deconstruction Results.

He had single-handedly slain the tal Ancestor Dragon’s Dragon Man clone, triggering a Passive Deconstruction and obtaining very detailed deconstruction results.

Among the many deconstruction results, there prominently appeared commands from the tal Ancestor Dragon’s original body to this Dragon Man clone.

Indeed, this clone had been collecting Soul Constructs for the tal Ancestor Dragon.

After gathering the Soul Constructs, the clone would use the ritual array to send all the constructs to the Inner Cosmos for the main body to dispatch.

Noland Lee knew that this matter was of great importance.

Waiting for the Scroll Angel to finish talking about the Illusion Space, he imdiately shared the deconstruction results.

Two angels and one human finally managed to fully unravel all the plots of the tal Ancestor Dragon.

The old dragon intended to use the Soul Construct bodies to explore the illusion space left on the inner barrier by the Angel of Heart, looking for a way to break through the illusion lock.

The reason why the tal Ancestor Dragon valued Soul Construct bodies so much was quite simple.

The feature which allowed Soul Construct bodies to resurrect at specific locations after death was of utmost importance.

Imagine this.

A batch of Soul Construct bodies might enter the illusion space, find themselves at a dead-end, and then be able to resurrect outside the illusion space through post-mortem resurrection.

After a few cycles like this, couldn’t the tal Ancestor Dragon use the Soul Construct bodies to figure out the situation inside the illusion space?

So extraordinary magical creatures also possess the feature of resurrecting at specific locations.

For example, those shadow creatures Noland Lee had encountered before.

But the status of these creatures was too low, and it was highly possible that they could not resurrect after death within the illusion space set by the Angel of Heart.

Only top-tier entities like Soul Construct bodies, which had been identified by the Star Palace, might have a chance to be immune to the bindings of the illusion space and resurrect outside of it.

The Scroll Angel considered this from another perspective.

If it was to unlock the secrets of the illusion space, it would probably take the sa asures as the tal Ancestor Dragon.

Using Soul Construct bodies to explore the illusion space likely represented the most reliable thod in the short term.

“I don’t think the tal Ancestor Dragon will give up just like that,” said the Scroll Angel,

“It is highly likely to continue looking for a way to obtain Soul Construct bodies.”

Noland Lee asked,

“So should I keep an eye on the avatars it has set up in the extraterrestrial void?”

The Scroll Angel pondered and counter-asked,

“Do you have a way to lock onto its avatar?”

Noland Lee shook his head regretfully,

“Not at the mont. I didn’t find any information related to its other avatars in the deconstruction results.”

The Scroll Angel looked towards the Assassin Angel,

“Then we can only ask Berya for help. We need to keep a close watch on the tal Ancestor Dragon to know if it has contacted any of its other avatars. If possible, it would be best to know the location of its avatar in the extraterrestrial void.”

The Assassin Angel confird,

“No problem. Next ti it conducts a ceremony, I’ll try to sense the direction it’s aid at. It’s a bit risky, but I’ll be careful.”

Noland Lee interjected,

“I’ll also have ‘Command’ pay extra attention. If any player goes missing, it will notify imdiately.”

The Scroll Angel said,

“That’s all we can do for now.”

There was no ti to waste, and the Assassin Angel imdiately returned to the side of the tal Ancestor Dragon to continue the surveillance.

Noland Lee then discussed his own progress in the extraterrestrial void with the Scroll Angel.

Half an hour later.

Just as the Scroll Angel was about to end the ceremony, it saw the figure of the Assassin Angel quickly condensing in front of it.

After showing its form, the Assassin Angel spoke urgently,

“There’s a situation. The tal Ancestor Dragon just held two ceremonies.”

“What kind of ceremonies?” asked the Scroll Angel.

The Assassin Angel said,

“Both were for communicating with the extraterrestrial void. The first ceremony pointed to the Dark Divine Cult. It seems that the tal Ancestor Dragon did not reach any agreent with the Dark Divine Cult and was very annoyed and disappointed. After ending the first ceremony, it imdiately began the second ceremony. The second ceremony pointed to the Angel Enterprise Alliance. This ti, it seems to have successfully reached so kind of agreent with the Alliance.”

At this mont, Noland Lee could still hear the conversation between the two angels.

Thinking that both the Dark Divine Cult and the Angel Enterprise Alliance had Soul Construct bodies, Noland Lee had an epiphany,

“The Dark Divine Cult has managed certain unexposed Soul Construct bodies by corrupting planets with the ‘Order’ Plane’s Core, while the Angel Enterprise Alliance has publicly recruited so Undying who have defected to them. Could it be that the tal Ancestor Dragon wants to buy or borrow a few Soul Construct bodies from these two extraterrestrial void forces?”

The atmosphere around the ritual array suddenly beca sowhat heavy.
