Chapter 1380: 454. Star Destroying Bomb

The transport ship was still in the midst of quantum leap, expected to arrive in the Dark Galaxy in 30 minutes.

Standing on the High Platform, the tal Ancestor Dragon overlooked a crowd that was growing increasingly dense.

Player characters controlled by it were almost filling up the vast bridge.

Before long, the corridors outside the bridge had also beco impassable.

The tal Ancestor Dragon raised its hands, manifesting its Extraordinary Abilities.

It extracted tallic material from the ship itself and wove it with ntal prowess into a form-fitting garnt laced with a grid of tallic threads.

...

This marvelous “clothing” crafted from tal was forcibly fitted onto the player characters by the tal Ancestor Dragon.

The tallic grid lines contracted inward, penetrating into the player characters, integrating with their muscles and bones.

After that, the tal Ancestor Dragon issued relatively complex commands with voices and gestures.

For instance, now open the Operating Interface of the ship’s defense computer and test all the equipnt aboard.

Or, now check to see if the fire suppression System is functioning properly.

Once such commands were given, player characters with extraordinary tallic substances inside their bodies would move jerkily as if they were marionettes.

“Its control over my Soul Constructs has grown stronger. I’ve nearly lost all control over those Soul Constructs,”

The Order Plane’s Core typed out a few lines on the Ga Interface.

Noland Lee wasn’t sure how to respond, so he could only maintain a deep silence.

Now there wasn’t much to say.

Once the ship reached its destination, Noland Lee would imdiately ignite the Magic Bomb hidden in the ship’s Power Room.

However, the next scene on the bridge made Noland Lee and “Command” realize that today’s events were not that simple.

As soon as the tal Ancestor Dragon forcibly controlled all the player characters present using the sa thod, it didn’t make them into its crew. Instead, it classified the player characters.

Yes, classified.

The extraordinary tal Creations it had placed inside the player characters seed to distinguish between the strong and the weak players.

Through this object, the tal Ancestor Dragon identified players among the characters who were of higher Level and had superior attributes.

It singled these player characters out from the crowd, setting them aside, and applied additional restraints.

Such as tallic collars that circled their necks, shackles and handcuffs that restricted their ability to move, and a tallic vest that greatly reduced their speed of movent.

All these tal creations added burden to these players as if the tal Ancestor Dragon was particularly afraid that these players would escape.

The player characters not subjected to this treatnt were ordered by the tal Ancestor Dragon to remain still and refrain from any extra movents.

“Hmm… what is it trying to do?”

Noland Lee, unable to understand, asked by typing on the Ga Interface.

To the naked eye, player characters selected by the tal Ancestor Dragon appeared tall and robust, clearly much higher in Level than the other players.

But why would the tal Ancestor Dragon do this?

The Order Plane’s Core wrote:

“It seems to be picking its subordinates.”

“Picking subordinates?” Noland Lee was even more confused.

“Yes, it’s picking subordinates, not servants,” The Order Plane’s Core wrote:

“During the era of the Supre Star Palace, the followers of deities and the adherents of angels, as well as the attendants of exceptional entities, were mostly indestructible Soul Constructs. All Soul Constructs that could take on important tasks distinguished themselves from many of their kind. Powerful exceptional entities would usually set their own standards to select Soul Constructs, just as the tal Ancestor Dragon is doing now.”

Noland Lee pondered the words.

“Command” continued to write:

“These Soul Constructs picked out by the tal Ancestor Dragon are at least Level 30 ‘Interdiate Interstellar Warriors’ and have taken on no less than two professions. They belong to the elite of Soul Constructs.”

Noland Lee glanced at the player characters not favored by the tal Ancestor Dragon and wrote:

“So these Soul Constructs are the generally lower-level average players, right?”

“Yes,” “Command” responded succinctly.

Noland Lee crossed his arms and thought of sothing.

He typed and asked:

“Right. Have the players corresponding to these player characters on the ship logged in yet?”

“Command” answered:

“Not yet. I’ve delayed the login ti for all players on this ship. After you blow up the bomb, I’ll arrange for them to resurrect in the Safe Zone and offer compensation and an explanation.”

“I see…” Noland Lee nodded slowly.

The two of them cald their spirits and watched every move of the tal Ancestor Dragon.

In the following twenty-so minutes, the tal Ancestor Dragon continued systematically, separating the Soul Constructs into two categories.

The elite ones were guarded very closely, laden with chains from head to toe, hardly able to move and could only stand beneath the High Platform.

The more ordinary Soul Constructs, anwhile, were ordered by the tal Ancestor Dragon to leave the bridge.

By now, the Soul Constructs on the ship were almost entirely under the tal Ancestor Dragon’s control.

About 300 Soul Constructs were handpicked by it for personal custody, while the rest were cramd into other Rooms.

As the Quantum Leap Computer announced that the “quantum leap is nearing completion,” the tal Ancestor Dragon gestured broadly with its hands, guiding the many elite Soul Constructs towards the docked Shuttle Ship.

Now Noland Lee and “Command” were certain of what the other was about to do!

The tal Ancestor Dragon was leading the team onto the Shuttle Ship, clearly intending to leave the transport ship and act independently.
