Chapter 1370: 449. Have so conscience_3
The breath of the tal Ancestor Dragon did not damage the Quantum Leap Computer; it rely drifted silently within it.
What was going on?
Noland Lee furrowed his brows and concentrated deeply on his thoughts.
While his thoughts churned, his gaze flickered to the sign hanging on the exterior wall of the Quantum Leap Computer Room.
Quantum Leap, Computer, Room.
As the na implied, a Quantum Leap Computer was used to lock onto the spatial signals of Quantum Leap Beacons, guiding the spacecraft to its intended destination succesfully.
...
That is, by tampering with the Quantum Leap data within the computer, one could interfere with the Quantum Leap of the transport ships.
A brightness lit up in Noland’s eyes!
“Activate the ‘Magic Pipe Network’!”
As the unique Magic Vision of this Magic Spell unfolded in his mind, Noland clenched his left fist and hamred his right palm, exhaling lightly:
“Ah! Just as I suspected! The tal Ancestor Dragon wanted to trick its own kind!”
In the view of the ‘Magic Pipe Network’, the spatial signal which should have extended straight in a certain direction shifted abruptly after passing through a cluster of black fog.
And that black fog was exactly the breath left by the tal Ancestor Dragon.
This insidious old dragon had done sothing within the computer, temporarily altering the Quantum Leap destination of the transport ship.
By the ti the plundering team collectively jumped away, this transport ship would head to a destination set by the tal Ancestor Dragon, parting ways with its companions.
Noland maneuvered other magic puppets to check the situation on the other transport ships.
The tal Ancestor Dragon had so “conscience,” but not much.
It left only one transport ship untouched for the Angel Enterprise Alliance, tampering with the rest.
Truly insidious, the tal Ancestor Dragon was scheming to make a side profit.
Noland was silently astonished; luckily he and ‘Command’ were hidden, never detected by others, otherwise it would have been troubleso.
Upon reflection, Noland felt he was no less than the tal Ancestor Dragon.
The tal Ancestor Dragon even left one ship for the players of the Alliance.
But Noland was different.
Not only would he keep all the players, he was also going to blow up all the Alliance’s ships.
“Tsk tsk tsk, looks like I have more ‘conscience’ after all… at least the Alliance will realize exactly where they lost.”
Nolan shifted his view, observing that engineering guardian ship through the ‘Magic Pipe Network’.
As expected.
The pre-set Quantum Leap direction of this guardian ship was identical to that of the transport ship tampered with by the tal Ancestor Dragon; both were headed to the sa Quantum Leap destination.
It would seem, then, that the Quantum Leap destination targeted by both the guardian ship and the transport ship was likely a key area controlled by the tal Creation Group.
Thinking deeper,
The people aboard the transport ship, upon realizing that their spaceship had deviated from the course, would certainly initiate a new Quantum Leap imdiately after completing the current one to correct the course and establish contact with the plundering team.
To prevent this scenario, the tal Ancestor Dragon would need to set up large spatial facilities beforehand that could interfere with communications and Quantum Leaps, forming a perfect trap, turning the transport ship into a sitting duck.
A place perfect for setting such a trap against the transport ships of the Angel Enterprise Alliance would surely need to be guarded by core mbers of the tal Creation Group.
Noland slightly narrowed his eyes, gradually realizing that this might be an opportunity to track down mbers of the headquarters of the tal Creation Group.
“Mmh, it’s ti to call on the Snow-winged Cat to help. With the Snow-winged Cat, tracing spatial signals across star domains will be as easy as turning over my hand.”
