[You have triggered a large-scale series task: “Sweep the Ancient Evils.”]

[This is the first task of the series: “Show your courage and belief in the trial.”]

[Details of the first task:]

[You will face trial monsters summoned by a boss-level creature “????”. Survive the upcoming lee for at least 10 minutes to satisfy the task requirents.]

[First task restrictions:]

[No summoning reinforcent forces, no leaving the current room, and the ga’s communication features cannot be used before the task is failed.]

...

[First task reward:]

[Unlock this year’s expansion “Heart of Magic”! Because of this, you will obtain the limited edition title “Witness to the Arrival of Magic”! Additionally, you may be recognized by the boss-level creature “????”, earning a chance to change your class to a hidden profession!]

“Holy shit!”

“[Loud expletive of surprise]!”

“Did you all receive the task notification?! Am I seeing this right?! We’ve triggered a task to unlock the expansion!!”

“We’re gonna be rich! Wuhu~~ Just selling the coordinates of the NPCs to those big guilds will make us a fortune!!”

“Incredible! Incredible! After being broke for so long, it’s finally our turn to hit it big!”

Players were shouting and cheering jubilantly.

The female player Strawberry Juice jumped around excitedly, screaming in delight:

“It’s magic! This is an expansion related to magic! So the legendary Supre God Clan possesses the power of magic!”

Player Commander Cucumber Slice was also visibly excited, although his gaze kept carefully scanning the surroundings, wary of any imminent threats.

Noland Lee did not correct Strawberry Juice’s misunderstanding.

He had also received a ssage from the “Starry Sea” ga system.

After manually compiling a task list in his mind, the ga system, based on previous detection results, arranged for him—an inner cosmos visitor with the “Heart of Magic”—a corresponding ga expansion.

This was sowhat beyond Noland Lee’s expectations but was not a significant problem.

In addition, the “series task” setting in the task information was deliberately arranged by Noland Lee.

He intended to use this kind of cascading task model to guide players to gather around him, step by step, to help him destroy the tal Creation Group.

If ti permitted and the players’ strength allowed, Noland Lee also wanted to enlist their help in freeing the Assassin Angel from its predicant.

As the players cald down from their initial excitent, Noland Lee raised his hand and cast a magic screen over the charred remnants scattered on the ground.

The magic screen, filled with Death Energy, swept over the remains of the Prayer Skeleton Soldiers, bringing these battle-worn Undead Creatures back to life once more.

This ti, what appeared before the players were no longer the thin, elongated Prayer Skeleton Soldiers but robust Undead Creatures assembled from several corpses.

The death-related spell used by Noland Lee at this mont was called “Wild Bone Undead Summoning Technique.”

The Wild Bone Undead summoned by this spell moved faster, were stronger, had tougher bodies, showed an increased desire for battle, and both their arms had transford into scythe-like Bone Knives.

Under the green lamp light, the Bone Knives flashed coldly, as clear as mirrors, and a re glance would convince one of their tallic sharpness.

The players were clad in Power Armor and ard with Burst Guns, while the Combat Cabin could provide Laser weapons’ reinforcent.

With proper coordination, defeating the Wild Bone Undead would not pose a difficult challenge.

Noland Lee weighed the task difficulty and decided to add so more spice so as not to let the players think the series task he had initiated was too easy.

With a snap of his fingers, Noland Lee cast a second death-related spell.

“Frost Bone Skeleton Mage Summoning Technique.”

Death Energy and Ice Energy took the form of light waves, pinpointing a dozen or so remains far from the center of the battlefield.

Chilling frost soon erged, causing the temperature in the Treasure Room to drop a few degrees and the air to fill with a brittle white mist.

About a dozen Skeleton Mages emanating Frost Power rose from the ground, hovering mid-air.

In their left hands, they held an orb of frost energy aloft, and with their right hands, they grabbed a long bone from the ground, shoving the frost energy orb into its tip, fashioning makeshfit Frost Magic Wands.

Swinging the Frost Magic Wand forward, they released a fan-shaped blast of frosty mist.

The Wild Bone Undead touched by this mist were instantly coated in what seed to be exceptionally durable Frost Armor, and their crescent Bone Knives appeared to be endowed with special effects of the frost magic.

Players suddenly felt their pressure double.

There was nothing in the task information that stated Cucumber Slice and Strawberry Juice couldn’t retreat back into the Combat Cabin.

Upon spotting the Frost Skeletons at the edge of the arena, the two didn’t hesitate, turned tail, and sprinted into the door of the Combat Cabin.

Once back in the Combat Cabin, Cucumber Slice shouted:

“All hands on deck! Prepare for battle! Just hold on for 10 minutes, and victory will be ours!”

His voice seed to sound the signal to comnce battle, and almost at the mont his words fell, the Wild Bone Undead charged ferociously with shrill screams towards the Combat Cabin.

In rely a second, the nearest Wild Bone Undead reached the vicinity of the cabin door.

With blades in hand, the Wild Bone Undead struck down, their dual Bone Knives banging away hard at the gaps around the door’s edge.
