Chapter 1235: 394. Angels Return
The tal Ancestor Dragon battled for anti-magic materials with wizards summoned by the Departnt of Magic in the Pollution Zone, and the intense battle had raged for over two months without a decisive outco.
The army composed of more than ten thousand wizards was strong enough to drag the tal Ancestor Dragon, tal System wizards, the Undead Cult, and the Death Steel Legion into the mires of a fierce battle.
Moreover, behind the wizard army stood Ulnas Circle as their main camp, continuously supplying provisions and reinforcents.
As long as Ulnas Circle remained unshaken, the wizard army could not possibly be defeated at the front line.
The tal Ancestor Dragon had originally hoped that the Pure Light Court would create disorder within the ranks of Ulnas Circle under the pretense of pursuing wanted criminals.
Now, its wishful thinking had been foiled, thwarted by a Pure Light Wizard nad Jay Spade.
...
An in-depth investigation into the Pure Light Court had continued for an entire month, still with no end in sight.
This completely eliminated any hope the tal Ancestor Dragon had harbored to see Ulnas Circle plunge into chaos.
As the initiator, Noland Lee hadn’t actually thought too much about it and had rely hoped that Selena wouldn’t be targeted by the Pure Light Court.
Now that the montum of the tal Ancestor Dragon had waned and the Plane Core representing the “wizards” from the Departnt of Magic had gained the upper hand, Noland Lee slowed down slightly the speed of constructing the chanos assembly lines, shifting materials and energy to the construction of the ritual array.
A month after Jay Spade’s capture, a complete ritual array had erged within Noland Lee’s sub-dinsional plane.
Compared to the previous rituals conducted on the small boats, this ceremony occupied over two thousand square ters, and the entire ritual array was exceedingly complex, filled with intricate non-tallic magic chains and had a total height of over thirty ters.
After all, the ceremony was to welco the Assassin Angel, and of course the pomp would not be modest; naturally, the area covered and complexity rose accordingly.
Stepping into the array, Noland Lee walked toward the center of the Array. Nolin controlled the energy pipelines from outside, ready to energize the Array at any mont. Denise Green, holding the Snow-winged Cat and accompanied by Nicolette, watched the ceremony from a distance.
Speaking of Nicolette.
This girl currently only spent her nights in the sub-dinsional plane, while at other tis, she was studying at the wizard Academy in the capital of Ulnas Circle.
Noland Lee had secretly arranged for her admission, changed her na and identity, and secured a legal status for her. She was enrolled in an enlightennt Academy for wizards under Hotams’ na.
Hearing that Noland Lee was bringing a big sister from the Angel Enterprises Alliance to the sub-dinsional plane today, Nicolette had asked for leave, eagerly coming to the site to witness the big sister’s true appearance.
Ah, but she was destined to be disappointed.
The Assassin Angel didn’t have what one would call a true appearance; its alien form was just a purple fu with a humanoid silhouette.
Moreover, the term “big sister” should be questioned; the Assassin Angel wasn’t necessarily female.
Noland Lee couldn’t be bothered to correct Nicolette’s preconceived notions.
He followed the steps dictated by the Assassin Angel, activating the magic chains within the Array one by one.
Once the Array swelled with variegated energy luminance from its core to its periphery, Noland Lee stood at the center of the Array, looking up.
The sky of the sub-dinsional plane was created by the Dusk Giants, presenting an idyllic image of blue skies and white clouds.
However, a round black gap had ford in the azure heavens, rapidly expanding with the flow of the Array’s energy, soon taking up half of the visible sky.
Those outside the Array couldn’t see this sowhat spine-chilling black hole, but they could still feel the restless energy in the air.
Noland Lee fixed his gaze on the black hole, concentrating directly on the center where a single star resided.
“ow~”
The Snow-winged Cat’s cry rang by the ear, followed by Denise Green’s voice:
“Noland, Professor Erica said that the Mass Star Tombs have detected a ceremony within the sub-dinsional plane that has opened a connection to Outer Space. An Outer Space Gap has appeared on the Star Filtering Net.”
“Mhm, I know, it’s all right,” Noland Lee responded calmly.
Usually, opening communication to Outer Space from within the sub-dinsional plane would not be detected, but it was the existence of the Outer Space Gap that had alerted the Mass Star Tombs.
It wasn’t a big deal.
In the end, Noland Lee’s sub-dinsional plane was unregistered, so a little more black-marking made no difference.
Nolin sent an alert:
“Sir, so letters bearing the seal of the Mass Wizard Tombs have appeared in the Maze Space. The guardians of the Mass Wizard Tombs are warning us that if we don’t cease the Ceremony imdiately, they will dispatch magic puppets into the sub-dinsional plane.”
“Oh, don’t mind them,” Noland Lee said with composure:
“No matter how many co, I will contain just as many; there are plenty of vacant Rune Cages in the Maze Space.”
“Okay, sir.”
The black hole in the sky nearly filled Noland Lee’s entire field of vision, and the central star beca increasingly distinct.
When the black hole ceased to expand, the image of the star began to enlarge.
Noland Lee faintly saw the star’s clouds, oceans, and landmasses.
Five minutes later, the star’s image expanded to a size of a dozen or so centiters across, revealing even finer details, such as the massive space stations orbiting the star, huge in size, appearing as large as grains of rice on the visual display.
“Let think, what did the Assassin Angel say…” Noland Lee narrowed his eyes slightly.
These space stations served as the workplace for the Angel Enterprises Alliance, and the star with oceans and clouds was a vast testing ground.
The Main Brain Controller that held the Assassin Angel captive, the culture tanks for creating Artificial Angels, and many high-tech facilities aiding in angel production were all located on these space stations.
