Noland Lee flew to the Jewelry Workshop where the Light Wizards were located.

Invisible, Noland slipped through the door crack into Jay Spade’s Study Room and cast “Mind Control” at close range on this sowhat elderly Light Wizard.
Noland’s “Mind Control” had only 10% completeness, its power being 10% of the normal circumstance.

Under normal circumstances, he wouldn’t be able to control Jay Spade, the Eighth-Circle Light Wizard.
But this ti was different.
The mont “Mind Control” was successfully cast, Noland received a system ssage unlike any before.

Until now, Noland thought that the Assassin Angel had ascended to the Throne of Angels and beca titled as the “Assassin Angel” by relying on the invisibility feature of the “Veil of Different Worlds”.
Only now did he understand that this unparalleled thod of lowering resistance was the real trump card of the Assassin Angel!
Assassinating a max-level Big Shot was extrely challenging, but assassinating a childhood version of a max-level Big Shot was as easy as flipping a hand.

This was a typical display of affection for beloved objects by humans during their childhood.
Except, Jay Spade was no longer the cute baby from 80 years ago but now had the appearance of a middle-aged man.
His display of youthful innocence on a middle-aged face appeared as “greed” and even sowhat sleazy through Paisi Dingda’s eyes…

At this mont, Noland was just controlling Jay Spade to touch the Gem Box.

The Assassin Angel also noticed this.

Noland nodded, controlling Jay Spade to reach for the box.
The initially over two ters tall Gem Box shrunk and transford into a palm-sized tal Box, squarely shaped like a Magic Cube.
Such an effect of changing object size could only be cast by the “Veil of Different Worlds” wielded by the Assassin Angel; Noland’s imitation “Veil of Different Worlds” couldn’t do it.
It has to be said, this was another instance that made Noland realize the genuine “Veil of Different Worlds” was incredibly useful.
Looking back to where the Gem Box originally was, an illusionary Gem Box created by the “Veil of Different Worlds” remained in place, replacing the real one and clouding Paisi Dingda’s vision, preventing him from alerting the tal Ancestor Dragon.
Without another word, Noland controlled Jay Spade to turn around and leave, locking the warehouse’s Great Gate, and returned to the Study Room.
At this ti, the duration of “Mind Control” was nearly expiring, and Jay Spade showed clear signs of breaking free from the control.

Jay Spade roared.
Noland couldn’t be bothered with him, simply reached around his waist to take the Magic-Cube-sized Gem Box, and also took the key ring to prevent the Light Wizards from entering the warehouse to check, buying ti.

Noland silently called Denise Green to co.
In the faint glow of fire covered by the “Veil of Different Worlds,” Denise appeared invisibly within the stronghold of the Pure Light Court.
