Chapter 1056: 329. Correct > Wrong

There has always been a sheer veil that prevented Nabby from glimpsing the true nature of that object.

His perception as a Transcendent Wizard told him that there was a familiar energy fluctuation surrounding the object.

This fluctuation was pointing to a type of Divine Power recorded in a certain book.

For a wizard at Nabby’s level, the sudden appearance of Divine Power before him was as shocking as if a person from Mankind before crossing had suddenly encountered Aliens.

This was a mysterious existence seldom recorded in Characters, yet it was always ntioned by Wizards!

If he could reach so form of cooperation agreent with the Proxy of the deity before him, Nabby reckoned he could use this as a breakthrough point to glimpse more secrets related to the deities.

...

“You don’t understand what you’re consuming,” Noland’s voice, without the slightest intonation, floated into Nabby’s mind.

Aroused from his brief stupor, Nabby realized the implications in the other’s words and bowed slightly as he said,

“Please enlighten .”

Noland kept his voice low:

“Knowledge is priceless.”

Nabby’s eyebrows knitted together under his white bangs.

It was not the arrogance of the other party that worried him, for he did not know what knowledge he could trade for information about the Red light orb.

In fact, apart from knowing that this object was delicious but could drive one mad, he had no further clues.

He had summoned the Night Spirit Witches to co and feed, but this was just an improvised response, not the result of long-term planning.

The Proxy of the deity before him very likely possessed crucial information.

Information that could affect his future direction.

Nabby hesitated for a mont, weighing what he could offer that was valuable, as he was utterly unaware of what a Proxy of a deity possessed, lacked, or needed.

Seeing Nabby’s response, Noland breathed a sigh of relief.

He knew he had gambled correctly!

A wizard like Nabby, at the level of a Transcendent Wizard, had no knowledge of the Binder of Blood!

This advantage created by the disparity in information was sothing Noland was all too familiar with.

Noland quickly inquired to Omar Goddard in his heart for more information related to the Binder of Blood.

Omar Goddard had promised to provide advice and would naturally not drag Noland down at this ti.

He himself didn’t know much either; all of it was told to him by the Assassin Angel.

“The Corpse Essence we are dealing with is left by the forr Binder of Blood, Zudak. Zudak was subordinate to the Dark Deities, which in turn are part of the ‘Supre Star Palace’…”

Supre Star Palace?… Noland ntioned a new term.

Omar Goddard continued:

“Dark Deities might sound like the incarnation of evil and cruelty, but that’s not necessarily the case. The Supre Star Palace governs many Sub-Dinsional Planes. Those related to ‘darkness’ are managed and suppressed by the Dark Deities.

“These Dark Deities are mbers of the Supre Star Palace, embodying both good and evil, and they all adhere to the rules of the Star Palace. The Binder of Blood, Zudak, was specifically responsible for suppressing Sub-Dinsional Planes related to ‘blood’, and all his actions had to be geared towards suppressing the Sub-Dinsional Planes.”

Noland asked:

“Why use the word ‘suppress’? What is in those suppressed Sub-Dinsional Planes?”

Omar Goddard’s tone turned complicated:

“The Sub-Dinsional Planes hold the enemies of the Supre Star Palace… As for who these enemies are… well, you can probably guess. They are those Extraordinaries who refuse to be bound by the Star Palace and wish to control a Sub-Dinsional Plane on their own. Theoretically, if the Supre Star Palace still exists today, then all the Wizard forces that have occupied a Sub-Dinsional Plane are its enemies, to be suppressed by the Deities of the Star Palace.”

Noland’s expression remained unchanged, but his heart quivered:

“Are you saying that this suppression ans preventing the Extraordinaries in the Sub-Dinsional Planes from basking in the Radiance of the Fire of St. Dillan?”

“That’s right, just like that. Preventing the Extraordinaries in the Sub-Dinsional Planes from bathing in the Fire of Dillan, to curb their growth, is the main job of Star Palace Deities like the Binder of Blood, Zudak.”

Omar Goddard stated:

“You can think of this practice as the Supre Star Palace wanting to monopolize the Fire of St. Dillan.”

Still puzzled, Noland asked:

“But isn’t the Fire of Dillan a Holy Object of you Titans? How did it end up in the hands of the Supre Star Palace? And is the Assassin Angel a mber of the Supre Star Palace? Does that an He sees as just another Extraordinary waiting to be suppressed? Am I actually an enemy to Him?!”

No wonder Noland asked questions one after another; the information revealed by Omar Goddard was too astonishing.

It turned out that he had been working for the Angels of the Supre Star Palace, and afterwards, he might even be suppressed by them?

This is ridiculous, just ridiculous…

Omar Goddard toned down, dodging the topic of how the Fire of St. Dillan ended up in the hands of the Supre Star Palace, and simply said:

“The Assassin Angel… His origins are a bit more complicated. All you need to know is that He is not your enemy, nor is He mine. When you complete the Task He has given you, He will introduce Himself and His background personally.”

“Alright then…”

Noland inhaled quietly, calming the turmoil in his heart.

Seeing Nabby still indecisive, Noland began to organize his thoughts.

In the Dragon Clan’s Spinning Continent, there must be the White Ancestral Dragon hidden, this ancient dragon manipulating the Destiny of all Humans in the World of Wizards.

The tal Ancestor Dragon entered the Inner Cosmos from Outer Space, and his intentions were yet unknown.
