Tina Huxley herself was surprised by the change in the relationship between the two. Following Sumr Lowell’s words, she sighed, and then candidly explained her true purpose for coming over today.

"Three days ago, I t Maxim Sinclair. It was he who invited , don’t misunderstand, there’s nothing unclear between us, and we probably won’t have any chances to intersect in the future."

"You don’t need to explain this to , and your visit isn’t just to tell about this, right?"

Based on her understanding of Tina Huxley, Sumr Lowell boldly speculated, "Did Maxim Sinclair give you sothing, and then ask you to do sothing for him?"

Tina Huxley raised her eyebrow with a peculiar expression and shook her head with a strange smile after a mont: "It’s only now that I understand why I lost to you back then. Maxim Sinclair and I grew up together, yet you know him better than I do. You can guess his purpose just from the opening words."

"It’s just that in the battles between your Huxley Family and Omni Group, being used for so long, my guesses naturally beca more accurate."

Sumr Lowell also shook her head with a bitter smile, not pleased with this ability of hers. Honestly, she couldn’t be happy about it.

Following her words, Tina thought about her own experiences and scoffed with lowered eyes: "Bla ; I almost forgot that our Huxley Family also used you many tis, with the sa trick. It seems you are quite familiar with this maneuver by now."

Sumr Lowell didn’t want to discuss past matters, and she actively changed the topic: "So what is the reason you ca to see today?"

"I ca to talk to you about what Maxim Sinclair said to three days ago."

"Although I’m not interested in your conversation, you seem particularly eager to share, and since I’m not busy, I suppose I’ll listen." Sumr picked up a cup and poured her so tea.

"It’s not a big deal; it’s just that Maxim Sinclair handed evidence of Justin Huxley embezzling public funds and asked to report Justin. Omni Group went bankrupt, divided and cleaned up by Maxim leading other enterprises, and the Huxley Family is now scattered, posing no threat to Maxim Sinclair anymore. I don’t understand why he wants to keep targeting Justin Huxley."

Sumr Lowell fell silent, pondering deeply upon hearing her words.

After an indeterminate amount of ti, Sumr picked up the cup and took a sip of water: "Did you agree to his request? If you carry out this task, Justin may retaliate against you. Forgive my frankness, your scheming isn’t as deep as Justin’s. You should just live your life well and avoid making more enemies; there’s no need for it."

"That’s exactly what I plan to do, but I’m just curious—you’re so knowledgeable about Maxim Sinclair, can you help resolve my confusion? Why does he want to go against Justin Huxley?"

The answer doesn’t require much analysis; anyone with good eyesight can imdiately see it.

Sumr looked at Tina, unsure if she genuinely didn’t understand or if she had set another trap waiting for her to fall into: "Do you truly not grasp Maxim Sinclair’s real intention behind this move?"

Originally clear about it and just trying to warn Sumr of Maxim Sinclair’s terrifying nature, Tina hesitated: "What do you an by this? Does he have any other purpose besides using ?"

Sumr recalled the many troubling emails that had bothered her for a while, and a notion suddenly arose within her.

But she suppressed that thought: "Perhaps he wants you to pin down Justin Huxley. If you don’t want to get caught up in this ss, just refuse directly; there’s no need to muddle along in confusion."

Seeing Sumr’s sowhat strange expression reminded Tina of the words Justin had previously used to incite her, and she belatedly realized sothing.

"Did Justin Huxley pull the sa trick on you regarding your biological parents? He ca in front of and urged , too. If he hadn’t harbored murderous intent towards , who knows, maybe I’d still be in the dark, at his beck and call. Luckily, you turned back and saved ."

"So you must rember this incident in your heart—it was Justin Huxley who placed you in danger. Bear it for now and return the favor when the opportunity arises. Despite being his sister, he dares to treat you like this; he’s truly a scumbag."

"It’s all my fault for being muddle-headed at the ti, and also our family’s people for misjudging others. Who could have thought that Justin Huxley, seemingly gentle and caring towards his younger siblings, would secretly be such a hypocrite?"

Tina Huxley’s smile looked ugly on her face, revealing that these recent events have indeed dealt her a harsh blow.

The once high-sitting little princess has now plumted into the dust, living miserably, especially when the older brother she trusted really hates her privately.

Such a matter is unacceptable to anyone.

Tina stayed until evening and left only when Maxim Sinclair was about to return.

Leaving Varden Villa, Tina sat in the car as Maxim, who was on his way back to the villa, received the news: "Stayed at ho for such a long ti? What exactly did she have to talk about with Sumr Lowell, given that they were previously like fire and water."

Section Chief Grant on the phone sent the recording secretly taken by his people to Maxim Sinclair.

After listening to the recording, an intimidating aura emanated from Maxim Sinclair.

The driver in front was frightened by his deanor, concentrating silently on driving without daring to make a sound, fearing he might anger Maxim.

Returning to the villa, Maxim Sinclair mulled over it for more than ten minutes but eventually did not question Sumr Lowell.

Asking her would inevitably provoke her anger about him not giving her enough space.

After their relationship had finally eased a bit, he didn’t want to make any more mistakes.

Thinking this, Maxim began to loathe Justin Huxley—the waste who ruined other’s good deeds everywhere.

Truly, all matters had been ssed up by him. If it weren’t for him, everyone’s life would be much easier.

Sumr glanced at the nonchalant Maxim Sinclair, wanting badly to lash out at him but finally held back.

Forget it, maybe one day when he’s tired of her, he’ll let her leave.

No need to argue with him over these trivial matters; just let them be.

Though she reacted indifferently, a sense of unease sharply arose within Maxim Sinclair.

This way, the two remained outwardly peaceful for several more days, until Maxim Sinclair summoned Tina Huxley again.

Ever since Tina Huxley went to the villa once to see Sumr Lowell and stayed until evening, she seed to have opened a door to a whole new world, visiting Sumr every other day, either at the studio or the villa.

Their relationship beca akin to best friends.
