Two minutes later, she dialed the internal landline on the fifty-ninth floor, "Jason... President Hawthorne, I have handed the docunts to Laura Quincy, who knows Arabic."
She almost reflexively said "Jason."
Jason Hawthorne responded indifferently with a "Hmm," and prepared to watch the show unfold.
Just as she was about to hang up, Stella Jennings said again, "Jason, tomorrow is Twinkle’s birthday, I want to take him to the amusent park, hasn’t he always wanted to go?"
Jason Hawthorne frowned slightly; he had told Stella Jennings many tis that she should call him "President Hawthorne" at the office, and besides, they weren’t that close. The only reason he had dined with her last Saturday was to avoid a fallout with the Jennings Family too quickly, and his father also hoped he would marry into the Jennings Family, so he could firmly hold the position of Executive President at Aegis Group.

Jasper Hawthorne took the docunt and carefully examined it. It was indeed an ordinary docunt, but the source was Giselle International Trading Co., one of the top multinational companies locally. He even heard his father ntioning it while on the phone in the office last night...
With Jasper Hawthorne’s help, Laura Quincy’s translation task was completed smoothly. She happily said, "I’ll take you out for dinner once I get the overti pay."
Jasper Hawthorne lovingly rubbed her hair, "I’ll treat you to dinner, save your money to pay off the car loan."
Laura Quincy cupped her cheeks, smiling sweetly, "I suddenly realize I’m especially lucky!"
Jasper Hawthorne was dazzled by her bright smile, and shifted the topic, "Your stepsister hasn’t co to bother you, has she?"
Laura Quincy shook her head, "No! Even if she cos, I’m not afraid."
After learning about his girlfriend’s family situation, Jasper Hawthorne was both shocked and exceedingly sympathetic towards Laura. How could this world have such a heartless father? Clearly, both are his biological daughters, but the treatnt is worlds apart.
