“We were shocked when you were sent away. We’re ashad that we couldn’t do anything for you back then...” Uncle Gobei said sadly.
“It’s alright. I sort of chose to go...” I said before smiling at them.
I rembered thinking that if it had to be soone then it might as well be . No one wanted around in the village anyways. It felt like a lifeti ago when all that happened. Things have changed now, and I think it had changed for the better. There was nothing for Uncle Gobei and Auntie to feel guilty or ashad about.
“I’ve been fine. Things were difficult at first honestly but Ren, I an, the crown prince, was always there for . He supported in his own way and now...I’m very thankful to have him by my side...” I replied honestly as I tried to pick the right words.
“I’m sorry but I have to ask this. Rin, are you in love with the crown prince?” Auntie asked as her brows furrowed.
