“I’m sorry but he did not leave word about when he will return...” the woman said.
“This is crazy. Can’t you just let out? It’s not like I can run anywhere...” I said desperately.
“Please calm down, My Lady. I’m sure the crown prince will be back very soon. Please control your anger, My Lady. There are guards standing in front of the door as we speak. They have been instructed not to converse with you so if you need anything, please just tell them to call for ,” the woman explained.
So that was why it took so long for soone to reply to my cries for help earlier...
Seeing that it would be completely useless to shout anymore at the poor woman, I turned on my heels and stomped back to sofa. I plopped down on the sofa and scread into my hands in frustration. Why is this happening to ? Ren, why won’t you listen to anything that I have to say?
It didn’t take long for to figure out that the best course of action was to save my energy for when Ren returned. I knew that this was all because of a misunderstanding but he shouldn’t treat this way. Now that I’m stuck here, I can’t go to work. I can’t continue with my studies. I just can’t do anything!
Despite the woman telling that Ren would return soon, Ren ca back early in the evening. It was a few hours past sunset when Ren returned to the room. By that ti, I felt extrely miserable and frustrated that I was ready to give him a piece of my mind. The maids in his palace had brought food for my als but I haven’t touched any of it. How do they expect to whip up an appetite in this situation?
“Crown prince...”
I heard the voice of a man from in front of the door and figured that it must be one of the guards greeting Ren.
Finally, he’s back.
The sound of the door being unlocked from the outside followed before the door slid open. I sat at the round table as I watched Ren entering the room before closing the door behind him and locking it. The internal debate whether I should shout at him or plead for forgiveness was endless and I had failed to reach a conclusion. This ant that I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do now that he was in the room.
“Why did you lock in here?” I asked, saying the first thing that ca to my mind.
So much for planning and thinking in advance. Once the ti ca, my natural instinct just took over and I was just saying whatever ca first to mind.
“Because there’s no need for you to go anywhere else,” Ren replied coldly as he approached the table where I was sitting.
What kind of response is that?
Ren’s face was an emotionless mask, but I could tell that he was tired and very irritated. The sa could probably be said for as well.
“Let out, Ren,” I demanded bluntly.
“There’s no need for you to go outside this room,” Ren replied flatly as he sat down opposite to .
If I had good manners, I would have offered him so tea, but I couldn’t care less about that right now.
“You can’t keep locked up in here...” I said as I watched him intently.
“Yes, I can...” Ren replied, sounding very bored and tired.
“Listen, if you’re scared that I’m going to escape, there is no need to be. I’m not going to escape...” I said, trying my best to convince him.
“I’m not scared of anything. Even if you escape, I’ll drag you back here,” Ren stated firmly.
“None of this is making sense. I just told you that I’m not going to run and even if I did, you’ll drag back. So, there’s no need for you to keep locked up in here!” I said in frustration.
“There’s no need for you to step outside this room...” Ren repeated.
“I have to study. I need to help out at the hospital. There’s so many things that I need to do...” I said, unable to understand him at all.
“Enough. I’m not here to talk with you. Get on the bed...” Ren said emotionlessly.
“What?” I exclaid, stunned at his words.
“Get on the bed, Rin...” Ren repeated.
“No...wait...” I said.
I got up from my seat when Ren ca to stand directly in front of . He grabbed my wrist in his hand, and I let out a small cry. Struggling against him proved to be useless. His grip around my wrist was so tight and his eyes were so cold that they were scaring .
“Ren...” I whispered his na in shock.
I couldn’t say anymore because Ren started kissing my lips aggressively. His hand held the back of my head, preventing any escape. I cried out against his kiss as his tongue thrusted deftly into the depths of my mouth. His tongue entangled with mine as he tasted over and over. Ren pressed his body against mine, forcing backwards until my hips butted against the table behind .
My mind thought of our passionate tryst last night and my body froze. It didn’t take a lot of imagination for to know where this was leading. I can’t believe he’s going to lock up in here all day and then turn up to sleep with at night like this. Desperately, I started pushing against his chest. I wished that he would stop kissing like this. It’s getting harder to breathe and his kiss was just getting deeper and wetter.
“Don’t resist, Rin,” Ren said coldly when he finally removed his tongue from my mouth.
I was panting hard by this ti as I tried to catch my breath. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t understand Ren at all.
“Why are you doing this? I keep telling you that I’m not going to escape. I didn’t run...I ca back...” I said desperately and I could feel tears stinging the back of my eyes.
