206 Fawning

The guests who were waiting to see so kind of drama between the two Kings were slowly getting disinterested in the family conversation.

Most of them started to focus back on their own conversations or their dance partners. They resud doing whatever they were doing earlier, before the arrival of the King and Queen of Sorvando.

So of the ladies, however, were unable to take their eyes off of the three red-eyed n who looked like they ca straight from heaven or from a divine place where all the handso n were manufactured.

A beautiful lady who was standing close by leaned to her friend and whispered, “Who do you think is the most handso among those three n?”

Her friend replied in an equally eager voice, “I don’t think we can compare! All of them are equally breathtaking. Just look at their smooth skin and sharp jawlines! And oh, their flawless body and their confident posture... I wish we could see their whole faces. I would gladly die if I have to, just to get a glance at their faces.”

The two of them giggled and then kept on lusting over those n from Sorvando.

While Vincent and Hamilton patiently waited for Caspian to rember that they were standing behind him, they were entertaining themselves with all the praises and gossip about them.

Every ti a lady would clearly ntion one of their features and hear them fawning all over, they would exchange glances with each other and smile.

“Oh my god! Please look at the one with blond hair!”

.....

They suddenly heard a lady’s sharp whisper.

“Which one? The King? Stop eyeing soone else’s husband, Sailyn!” It was probably her close friend who shouted at her.

And the lady protested, “I am not talking about the King. Look at the one who is standing behind him. He looks like a god among mortal n. Just look at him! His face looks like he is very stressed out, but god is that enticing! And his arms look so muscular... almost biteable. Oh, and look at his eyes! His goddamn eyes! They look like so precious gems.”

Vincent almost laughed out loud after listening to that woman thirsting over Hamilton. He bit his lower lip and lowered his head in order to hide his laugh.

When Vincent finally looked at Hamilton after successfully suppressing his laughter, Hamilton gave a corner-eyed glare to Vincent and said, “Don’t! Just don’t.”

Vincent chuckled again and then said in a very soft whisper, “God among mortal n... Stressed out face... And what else did she say? Oh, biteable arms!”

“Shut up, Vincent!” Hamilton looked away and mumbled. He was trying not to react to Vincent, however, he couldn’t help but chuckle along with him.

“God! Won these days sure like to whisper a lot, huh,” Vincent mumbled and then gently nudged Hamilton with his elbow. He pointed his brows at that woman who had praised Hamilton and then said, “See if she suits your taste. Who knows, maybe she is the one for you?”

A werewolf who happened to listen to their whisper interpreted Vincent’s last sentences wrongly. ‘Suits your taste? Are they planning to attack Mia?’ he thought while giving look-daggers to those vampires.

‘They better not make a move on anyone present here. For their own safety!’ he thought to himself and went and stood in front of that woman who was eyeing Hamilton.

When his glare t with eyes of Hamilton, he was surprised how Hamilton politely gave a nod and looked the other way.

He scoffed and proudly thought to himself, ‘I guess he got scared of . Yes, that’s right, you bloodsuckers. Be scared of-‘ He was suddenly pushed to the side by the sa woman he was ‘protecting’.

“Don’t stand in front of and block my view, you pervert!” Mia shouted at him and then went back to giggling and staring at Hamilton.

After exchanging a few pleasantries with Alexander, Caspian finally turned around and then gestured for Vincent and Hamilton to step forward.

He then introduced them to Alexander and Everard, “I am sorry but I took the liberty to bring them along. He is my cousin, Hamilton Heradi. And he is my close friend, Vincent Warmane.”

Both Vincent and Hamilton gave a bow to Everard and greeted the newly appointed King of Xanmar. And then they bowed to the Crown Prince of Orsenia.

Alexander imdiately extended his hand toward Hamilton and said, “We et again, Lord Hamilton. I was looking at you and wondering for a while now thinking if it was indeed you or soone who resembled you.”

Hamilton shook Alexander’s hand. He couldn’t bla the Crown Prince for not recognizing him instantly since he was putting on a mask. “It’s nice to et you again, Prince Alexander.” He gave a warm smile to the Crown Prince and added, “I was hoping to see you here, and now my wish has been fulfilled.”

Hamilton then turned his gaze at Everard and said, “It’s nice to see you too, Your Majesty.”

Everard wanted to snap back at Hamilton and say that he wasn’t expecting him here. But he swallowed it and simply gave a nod.

Alexander held out his hand towards Vincent as well and warmly welcod him, “It’s nice to have you here, Lord Vincent.”

“And I am happy to be here. I got to et Her Majesty’s dear brother,” Vincent replied with equal warmth.

Anastasia was seeing that Everard was acting a little uncomfortable around them. So, she tried to make him feel included, “Lord Hamilton had ntioned that he had t you and my brother there in Lavinya. That was quite so coincidence.”

“Yes, it was indeed.” Everard gave a nervous smile to Anastasia, wondering what kind of things Hamilton had said to Anastasia. He hadn’t exactly been kind to Hamilton, so he was afraid that Hamilton had said bad things about him.

And he also feared that they would strike up a conversation about Ruby. So, in order to divert the conversation elsewhere, he said, “Oh, where are my manners? I almost forgot...”

He looked around and when he found a maid who was serving drinks, he called her and ordered, “Serve the best wines to our valued guests.”

“Oh, that won’t be necessary. None of us drink alcohol,” Anastasia replied while waving her hand. She didn’t want her husband and the others to force themselves to drink sothing that didn’t suit their bodies.

However, Everard insisted, “No, please. You are all my guests after all. You have to drink at least a glass.”

Everard wasn’t doing it purposely, but Caspian felt attacked. He clenched his teeth and thought to himself while glaring at the glass of wine that was being offered to him, ‘Is he trying to expose us or sothing? Or has he poisoned it? What kind of ga is he playing?’
