Chapter 584: No Man’s Land
Lan could, in fact, have ripped apart another hole in space and made them appear next to Hui Yue within monts, but after realizing that Mo Lian was very curious about their past and the current world they live in, he was patient and answered every question before showing any signs of planning to leave.

"Do you know this area well?"

The Ghost Realm was not a suitable place to activate the bloodline, and after returning to the living world, Xue Wei had rely stabilized his body and mind.
The knowledge that soone had planned such an intricate web behind him and was pushing him into a certain direction was extrely uncomfortable and affected his mind negatively.

Although it will not provide us a guarantee when crossing the dangerous zones, it should improve our chances."
Xue Wei looked at Hei Gou to hear his opinion. It was not an easy thing to accept the mutations brought by his bloodline, and the more mutations he went through, the more dangerous and agonizing they beca.
"There is no way I will back down. Although painful, I can manage."
Hei Gou was not one to back down in the face of pain or danger. To him, he had been given a future where he could fight for his dreams, and to him, it was worth it, even if he died along the way.
He would much rather die while chasing his goals than to beco a coward that gave up when there was a chance of success.
