"Sword... Palace?"

Chen Zhixing stood in front of the black grand hall, raised his head to look at the blurry ancient characters on the plaque of the hall, and only after a long while did he recognize the two characters for Sword Palace.

Without any hesitation, Chen Zhixing pushed the door open and entered.

Without any resistance, without any restriction, Chen Zhixing easily walked in.

A gust of stale air hit him in the face, and Chen Zhixing gently covered his nose, fanning it away as he looked ahead.

Swords!

Swords everywhere!

An array of swords, each with a different design, their tips pointing down, densely suspended throughout the hall!

"Oh?"

Chen Zhixing slightly raised his eyebrows and casually grabbed a sword in front of him.

The divine sword, which had appeared sharp and unmatched, containing celestial radiance, disintegrated inch by inch into flowing sand upon touching Chen Zhixing’s fingers, slipping through his fingers.

Only a faint Sword Intent remained, fluttering upwards like a firefly, swaying in the air.

"What is this?"

Chen Zhixing retracted his hand, a hint of disappointnt appearing in his eyes.

These swords, perhaps were divine weapons that could slice the heavens and seas in endless bygone years, have long deteriorated under the erosion of ti, losing the power in their materials.

Only the Soldier Qi Sword Intent contained within the swords was unhard by the passage of ti and had been preserved.

However, pure Soldier Qi Sword Intent was of no use to Chen Zhixing.

"But... although it is useless to , it is highly beneficial to soone else."

With a flip of his right hand, a blackwood sword gate appeared in Chen Zhixing’s hand.

"Ahem."

Chen Zhixing, looking at the already dusty blackwood sword gate, awkwardly cupped his fists and cleared his throat, then lightly knocked on the sword gate and called out in a low voice, "Mr. Cyan Pheasant?"

There was no response from within the sword gate.

Knock, knock.

Chen Zhixing knocked again and said, "Mr. Cyan Pheasant, won’t you co out for so fresh air?"

The sword gate remained unresponsive.

"It seems Mr. Cyan Pheasant is still asleep, so let’s not disturb him then." Chen Zhixing raised his voice a few notches and spoke loudly.

As soon as he finished speaking.

"Three years! Do you know how I’ve spent these three years?"

An angry female voice instantly erupted from the blackwood sword gate.

"It seems Mr. Cyan Pheasant is quite awake."

Chen Zhixing chuckled dryly, reminiscing how the last ti he used the Cyan Pheasant Sword was when he acquired the Female Sword Immortal’s legacy at Celestial River Mountain.

Later, after he forged his own Sword Dao, he seldom used the Cyan Pheasant Sword.

By now, it had been collecting dust in the storage ring for three years.

"You jerk! Had I known it would be like this, I would rather have been destroyed by you back then! Waaah~~!"

The voice from within the Cyan Pheasant Sword Spirit was furious, and seed to carry a hint of extre grievance and sobbing undertone.

So unfair!

While he enjoyed the world outside, he confined her in a dark box for a full three years!

Three years!

Who knows how she survived these three years?

Is this sothing a person could do?

"Hahaha, indeed, my apologies."

Amused, Chen Zhixing promptly apologized.

"Waaah~~, what did you promise back then? You said you would make my na famous across the world, and let taste the renowned swords of the world!"

"Instead, I didn’t find a single sword to devour in three years and ended up amassing dust!"

"Liar! A fraud who only makes empty promises!"

Cyan Pheasant felt utterly aggrieved, and if not for knowing she couldn’t defeat Chen Zhixing, she would have impaled this unfaithful man with her blade.

Chen Zhixing chuckled as he opened the sandalwood box, and saw the Cyan Pheasant Sword, initially full of montum, turn around and present its back to him.

"Alright, stop fussing, didn’t I bring you here to feast?"

Chen Zhixing extended a finger, gently teasing the hilt, and laughed lightly.

"Don’t touch !"

Cyan Pheasant, clinging to her integrity, angrily responded:

"I won’t eat! Even if I starve to death, I, Cyan Pheasant, will not eat another bite from you!"

"Really?"

Chen Zhixing blinked, then regretfully said, "What a pity. These are divine weapons refined by a True Immortal from endless years ago..."

Before Chen Zhixing finished his sentence.

Clang—!!!

The Cyan Pheasant Sword, lying in the sword gate, instantly flipped upright.

"What? A weapon refined by a True Immortal?"

"Where? Where is it?"

Along with a hurried voice.

The Cyan Pheasant Sword quickly looked left and right.

Then, Chen Zhixing heard a sound of soone swallowing.

"So... so much to eat!!"

At this mont, the entire Cyan Pheasant Sword emitted light.

Chen Zhixing couldn’t help but laugh, waving his hand, "Go ahead, it’s all yours."

"Alright!"

The Cyan Pheasant Sword zipped out from the sword gate but quickly circled back, hovering in front of Chen Zhixing.

"I’m not lacking in spine, but since you have no use for these, I’ll be kind and help you eliminate them!"

"Ah? Yes, yes." Chen Zhixing nodded, providing a face-saving step for Cyan Pheasant.

"Shall I... start, then?"

"No need to stand on ceremony, please help eliminate them."

"Alrighty!"

In an instant, the Cyan Pheasant Sword shot through a black ancient sword with a nacing design and rust spots.

The black ancient sword turned to dust upon contact with the Cyan Pheasant Sword.

An invisible Soldier Qi Sword Intent instantly flowed into the Cyan Pheasant Sword.

And the Cyan Pheasant Sword’s grade began to rise at a speed visible to the naked eye!

In just half an incense stick’s ti.

The Cyan Pheasant Sword had fully recovered from being a Peak Divine Wanderer Soldier to a True Self Soldier.

"Burp~~~ Delicious!"

After absorbing the Soldier Qi Sword Intent, the Cyan Pheasant Sword dashed towards another ancient sword.

Bang, bang, bang!

Bang, bang, bang!!

As ti passed, the Cyan Pheasant Sword’s grade continued to soar at a speed visible to the naked eye.

In just the ti of a tea serving, the Cyan Pheasant Sword’s rank soared to the True Self Third Layer!

And only a tenth of the ancient swords in the entire Sword Palace hall were consud!

"Co out!"

"Get out!!"

"Who’s inside? Co out obediently and hand over the Immortal Martial Order, or else don’t bla us for breaking in!"

At this mont, a series of loud voices resounded outside the hall.

"Soone’s here?" Chen Zhixing frowned.

He had presud soone would co, just not so quickly.

"Shall I handle them?"

The Cyan Pheasant Sword Spirit, caught in the lingering enjoynt of the Soldier Qi Sword Intent’s absorption, paused and looked at Chen Zhixing.

"No need, you focus on improving yourself, I’ll handle everything."

Chen Zhixing smiled at the Cyan Pheasant Sword Spirit, then turned and walked step by step towards the outside of the hall.

In the dim passageway of the hall, the smile on Chen Zhixing’s face slowly faded, replaced by a chilling killing intent in his eyes.

It seems that unless he strikes fear into this group, even terror, there will be no peace for him!!

Creak.

The gate of the Sword Palace slowly opened outward.

"Here, here, finally coming out!"

"Let see who is the unlucky one who first acquired the Immortal Martial Order!"

"Today, teach this person a lesson: if you have the strength and find the Immortal Martial Order, then you’re the lucky one; if you lack strength, then the Immortal Martial Order is not fortune but a death warrant!"

"Who could this person be?"

At that mont, the nurous young talents perked up, their eyes uniformly fixed on the hall.

Amidst eyes that were either excited, intrigued, or indifferent.

A slender figure clad in snow-white robes, with a face unrivaled in elegance and narrow, long eyes, erged step by step from the shadowy hall.
