The mountain peak shuddered as the sky continued to fracture. The blue expanse of the afternoon was being swallowed by a jagged, obsidian void that bled a sickly violet light.

Egon gripped the hilt of his sword, his knuckles white.

"It’s too early. Could it be becuase of the butterfly effect?."

In the original story, the scouts weren’t supposed to arrive for weeks. But his interference have so way had accelerated the plot.

The higher-tier world had noticed the ripples in the pond, and it was reaching through the tears in reality with greedy, clawed hands.

"Egon, look!" Hilga pointed toward the base of the Holy Mountain.

From the dark mouth of the Rift, shadows began to rain down like hailstones. They weren’t spirits, they were physical with hulking masses of muscle and malice.

The Demonic Orcs: Approximately 100 feet tall with skin the color of dried blood and tusks that curved like scimitars.

They jumped onto the Golden Crow forest like moth to fla.

Awoooo! CAWWWWW!

The screams of the wildlife were instantaneous.

The majestic Golden Crow birds were swatted from the air. The silver deer were torn apart in a frenzy of gore. The Orcs didn’t just kill; they desecrated.

A pack of five Orcs stopped their slaughter, their flat noses sniffing the air. They turned their heads in unison, their glowing red eyes fixing on the summit.

Sensing the concentrated mana of the mountain, they began to climb, leaping up the rock face with terrifying agility.

"They’re coming for us," Hilga whispered looking alert.

Egon turned to her, his expression grimr than she had ever seen it.

"They’re coming for the light, Hilga. And right now, you’re the only one who can hold it."

He pointed toward the center of the glade.

Zzzz!

The ground began to pulse.

Then, a single, brilliant stalk erupted from the soil, unfurling petals that glowed with a radiance that made the setting sun look dim.

The Hero Flower.

It humd with a celestial energy, and a song of hope ant to answer the scream of the world.

Egon held her hand and said urgently,

"Only you can be the Hero, Hilga. I am stained. Other are unqualified. But you— you have the heart to carry this. You can save Vienna. You can save everyone."

"??"

Hilga looked at the monsters leaping over the final ridge, their weapons dripping with fresh blood.

She then looked at Egon, who stood ready to throw his life away just to buy her seconds.

"I will do it," she said, her voice finding a sudden, steel-like clarity. "For Mistress Vienna. For you."

She stepped into the center of the light.

As her fingers closed around the stem, she didn’t just pick it, she consud it.

The flower dissolved into pure golden particles, rushing into her pores like a tidal wave.

"BUZZZZ!"

The transformation was violent and beautiful.

"Hummm!"

A pillar of holy fire erupted from Hilga, incinerating the nearest Orc instantly. Within the light, her simple maid’s attire vanished, replaced by the Golden Armor of Aegis.

Its plate mail that looked as though it had been forged from a dying star, etched with runes of absolute protection.

In her right hand, a hilt manifested, birthing a blade of blinding golden light: Excalibur.

Her also physique changed: her muscles beca dense, her aura expanded until she felt like a goddess walking among mortals.

The Holy Physique of Light had awakened.

The remaining Orcs roared, charging with their rusted axes.

Hilga didn’t flinch.

"Whooosh."

She moved like a flicker of lightning.

"Slash!"

With a single, horizontal sweep of Excalibur, a crescent of holy energy tore through the air.

The Orcs weren’t just cut. They were erased. Their demonic bodies turned to ash before they even hit the ground.

Egon stood at the edge of the mountain with a satisfied smile across his face.

I was right. She ineed was the chosen one. The world now has its shield. Archon is not needed anymore.

But as the golden light began to fade, the mountain groaned again.

The ground cracked open three paces to Egon’s left.

He leaped back, expecting another monster, but instead another sprout pushed through the dirt.

Egon’s smile disappeared. His heart skipped a beat.

This flower was not golden. It was the color of a bruised lung, a deep, necrotic violet that bled a mist as black as ink. It slled of ancient graves and cold iron.

The air around it didn’t rejoice, it mourned.

"What is this?" Egon whispered, his blood running cold.

There was no "Second Flower" in the Combat Slave Harem novel. There was only one Hero, one Flower, and one destiny.

The dark flower pulsed, and Egon felt a magnetic, soul-deep pull toward it. It wasn’t calling for a Hero. It was calling for a Villain.

Before he could move, a screen flickered in his vision, glowing with an ominous crimson light.

Egon stared at the flower of death, then at Hilga, who stood bathed in gold. The butterfly effect hadn’t just changed the Hero, it also had birthed an antithesis that shouldn’t exist.

But why?

He didn’t know. Nevertheless, he went forward and grabbed it.

It instantly dissolved into body, and a series of notification appeared in his mind.
