Inside the school buildings, the students and teachers looked terrified. Very terrified to even look outside the windows. They were covering the windows with anything they could use just to avoid the humanoid monsters from entering through them.

anwhile, lody was running away from a group of humanoid monsters who were chasing after her unceasingly. Wherever she went, they chased her.

"Shit! Why is this happening?!"
Her breathing was heavy and sweat trailed down her face. She knew that if this continued, it would be bad not only for her but for all the people in the school. Maybe even the whole city would be in danger later.
If these monsters go out of the campus, then the chances the whole city would descend to chaos as well is not impossible.
Sothing must be done to avoid that from happening and end this madness.
In her mind, she thought, ’I need to find the source quickly!’
A while ago, she helped another group of students she encountered on the way. After saving them from the pursuing humanoid monsters, they asked her to help a student who was in the abandoned warehouse. They also talked about another student who was suddenly turning into sothing scary.
They didn’t explicitly explain the details, but lody had a feeling that it was connected to the source. She hastily asked them where she could find the abandoned warehouse. The group, which was composed of Sujin, gan, and her friends, hastily told lody the whereabouts of the abandoned warehouse.
lody headed there imdiately. Unfortunately, so of the humanoid monsters spotted her and so they chased her. And that’s how she ca to her current situation.
After a couple of minutes, her feet finally brought her to the place ntioned by those students.
"This must be the place, right?"
In front of her was a rundown building, looking gray and dark and obviously unattended for who knows how long since then.
Standing outside of it, she noticed sothing unusual that stunned her.
The chasing humanoid creatures, they suddenly gone, their bodies disappearing, turning into wisps of black smoke all at once.
The ominous aura that was proliferating on the campus was also disappearing. The dark clouds gathering up above the school also disappeared and went back to a bright sunny sky.
"Eh? What’s happening?" lody was left standing for a few seconds, wondering if what happened just a while ago was just an illusion.
However, the groaning noise coming from the building in front of her brought her senses back to reality.
She quickly entered there to see what was going on inside.
"Kyzer!?"
After she entered, lody saw Kyzer standing in front of what seed like a male student who was groaning faintly.
In addition to the slight demonic aura in the air, she quickly concluded.
"Is he the source?"
Kyzer, who was a little bit startled by her sudden call, looked at her in a daze before he responded.
"Maybe..."
"No wonder those humanoid monsters suddenly disappeared. So you defeated him already."
"Uhh—" he wanted to say sothing but stopped when lody smiled at him and said, "Good job. As expected of you. You beat in finding it first and defeating it." lody believed fully that it was Kyzer who defeated it.
Kyzer frowned secretly.
He had no idea who this person was on the ground. A while ago, when he arrived here, he heard noises inside. As though so people were clashing inside the warehouse.
When Kyzer entered, a strong ominous aura hit him and knocked him unconscious. He had no idea how long he was unconscious, but when he opened his eyes again, this was what entered his vision, a faintly groaning person on the ground and a surrounding that was obviously a ss.
lody glanced around and noticed the scene of what seed like the aftermath of a great clash.
There were so holes in the ground and broken segnts on the wall and even on the roof. There was also a strong stench of blood and flesh in the air. She frowned when she noticed red stains on the ground.
lody approached Kyzer and looked at the person on the floor. "You’re truly admirable. You didn’t kill him despite the trouble he caused. You’re truly a true hero," she looked at him warmly. This ti, Kyzer once again saved more people. She thought. "Regardless, I think we should report this imdiately."
Hearing her, Kyzer snapped from a daze. "Y-You are, right. We should do that."
Sotis later, Kyzer received praise from the teachers, instructors, and even the students of both classes. He also received praise from his colleagues from the SWORD Corps.
Once again, Kyzer’s popularity rose to an even greater height.
"Kyzer the Savior" and "Kyzer the Hero" are just so of the many moniker people gave him.
On the other hand,
Sujin, gan, the two friends of gan, and Dante were held inside a private room for investigation. They were reported as people who had the last contact with Jas.
