The next day, *Krinnggg!!!* a loud ringing woke him up.
'Damn!'
He grumbled.
He wondered if the world was under attack by aliens, or was it so kind of military drill? Rembering that he didn't have an alarm clock inside his room, he touched the area of his bed near his face to search for his smartphone.
Aside from it, there was no other source of alarm that might be the cause for this noisy ringing.
His hand touched the vertically rectangular hard object. He pushed the on/off button using his finger, which he mostly getting used to do to open the led of the screen. Once the screen lit up, he forced his eyes to see it.
"....."
[AFK due to inactivity... blah blah blah!] is what greeted his eyes upon looking at the screen. It looked like he fell asleep again while playing the MOBA ga he enjoyed playing.
'The heck. It's another subtraction to my credit score,' he felt dejected.
He squinted his eyes to lessen the hurdle of staring at the bright screen. When his eyes wandered to the upper part of his smartphone screen, he noticed the ti was 9 A.M.
He didn't expect it was already this late. His face contorted into a frown. But then again, after what happened yesterday, he had no appetite to go to school today.
Hah~
He sighed.
Suddenly, "Eh?!" He noticed the ringing sound didn't stop and it was not due to his smartphone's alarm clock either.
Wait...
'Then where is this noisy alarm coming from?'
With that question in his mind, he pulled his body up. Sitting on his bed in a lotus position, he looked around, but there was really no alarm clock around him.
"Eh?"
He mumbled in disbelief when at that mont, he noticed sothing floating in front of him. The floating object in front of him resembled a floating widget in his smartphone.
What the hell is this?!
In that widget, a snoozing alarm was displayed.
He blinked his eyes in disbelief, and so the floating widget in the air blinked as well. He noticed that once he closed his eyes, the floating widget in the air also disappeared. But it reappeared once he opened his eyes again.
'Am I inside a VR ga...?'
He mumbled.
Perhaps he fell asleep while... playing?
He quickly searched for the button but to no avail. He couldn't find it. He couldn't find the button!?
Panic overwrote his sleepy eyes. 'Holy sh8! I don't want to go on an adventure to conquer all the 100 floors before I can get out of this hell.'
Despite wanting to disappear yesterday, now he was asking to spare his life today. He realized there were still more things he wanted to do in his life.
He suddenly realized sothing.
'Uhm... wasn't my VR helt broken a few days ago after I bumped into the wall because I tried to avoid the charging monster bull? Because of panic at that ti, I jumped for real and ended up crashing into the wall of my room. I almost lost consciousness as a result.'
Then he realized... 'What was this floating widget in front of ?'
He tapped the button on the floating widget in the air.
Krii—-!
The ringing stopped after tapping it.
"Oh, it works."
That surprised him.
Sigh.
He wanted to go back to sleep. But before that, he thought he needed to do sothing about this floating widget in his vision first.
However, how to get rid of it? He crossed his arms across his chest as he pondered what to do. His body began swinging from left to right like a Roly Poly Toy.
There was no mark or button on it to exit it.
He stopped swinging his body and thought, 'Maybe I just need to swipe it away with my finger?' As he was about to do that, a familiar ringtone suddenly rang out.
*Ring ring ring~~*
It seems he received a call. He quickly searched for his smartphone and realized he was holding it the whole ti.
"What an idiot," he dissed himself.
He frowned when he saw the caller. 'I can't recognize the number.'
Although he didn't recognize it, the persistent ringing forced him to accept the call.
Suddenly, the person on the opposite line spoke.
[The world is about to collapse! I will send you the coordinates to your terminal. Go there and rendezvous with the agents! Co on, hurry! Failure of the mission is punishable by the law of the organization!]
Toot-toot... (Call ended.)
"What the fvck?" Is the word that ca out of his mouth.
No good. He was stunned by it.
'What the hell. Is this a prank? Is so freak trying to scam , or maybe an otaku trying to fool ?' He asked himself out of anger when suddenly the event yesterday ca back to his mory.
He froze on the spot and, "...wait a minute..."
Then he started recalling what happened yesterday.
After the confession yesterday, his head was fuzzy and his heart was bleeding, so he headed ho directly without realizing his bag was still in the classroom and even forgot to change his outfit. He headed ho while wearing the tiger costu, and because of that, a white van stopped in front of him and so n in black suits ca out from it and pulled him inside.
He shouted at them, "Wait, who are you people!?" But those bastards, they didn't answered and just forced him inside without caring about his pitiful scream.
He panicked. The first thing that ca to his mind was that they were part of Organ thieves. Organ thievery was a common occurrence in many countries. Their favorite targets were healthy youths and children. Since he was a healthy youth, it' was not a wonder if they target him.
Once inside the van, he heard one of them shouted.
"Hurry! Let's go!" The driver imdiately stepped on the gas and sped up the vehicle.
Dante, on the other hand, tried his best to free himself from them.
But there was too many of them against one. One on each side of him and two in front and another two on the back. Since his strength wasn't enough to free himself from them, he used other thod. He used his voice to create a ruckus by shouting. However, he underestimated them. They covered his mouth and nose with a cloth. After sniffing the strong odorous substance on it, his consciousness slipped away.
After that, he woke up in an unfamiliar white room.
