Chapter 490: Chapter 490: The Little Fox’s Big Plans

After finishing the al, she decided she would go to the location where the fox tribe was settling and building their houses.

She wanted to see them and maybe help build stronger, sturdier houses for everyone.

Suddenly, she rembered sothing useful from the system. She had received a booklet with many designs for bamboo furniture after completing one of her earlier missions.

She had never used it yet. Now might be the perfect ti.

She could use those designs to create comfortable beds, tables, chairs, and storage shelves for their own house and for the tribe.

After all, they were going to stay here for a long ti, whether the people of the Dragon Beast City liked them or not.

Su Qinglan did not bla the locals for being unwelcoming. It was normal. Wherever you go in this world, people are never fully open to strangers right away.

Everyone has the right to be careful and worried about new arrivals. There were no completely trusting people everywhere.

But she believed that in just a short ti, the dragon city beastn would see that the fox tribe were good people.

She planned to build a good life here, and slowly their relationships would get better.

Besides, it was not like the Dragon Beast City people could actually kick them out. Her mother was the priestess here, and her mother’s husband...who was technically her father too was the city lord.

With such strong backing, who would dare to kick them away?

Su Qinglan felt a quiet sense of smug satisfaction at the thought.

In this city, she had unwavering support if she ever needed it. And yet, a faint trace of guilt crept in...was it shaless to rely on connections like this?

But then again... could sha fill her stomach? Of course not.

"Then stop overthinking and keep quiet," she told herself.

While she was thinking all this, the husbands noticed her changing expressions. Su Qinglan looked like a little chipmunk whose cheeks were full while her mind was working hard.

Her eyes would narrow slightly, then suddenly brighten like a happy little squirrel who had found a big nut.

Rong Ye tilted his head and smiled. "Lan Lan, what are you thinking about? Your face keeps changing...one mont serious, the next mont you look like you want to giggle."

Su Qinglan blinked and then let out a small, cute giggle. She could not help it.

The husbands looked at her with soft, amused eyes. She looked so adorable, like a little animal full of secret plans.

Xuan Long’s usual cold face softened a bit. Hu Yan’s tail swished gently. Shi Feng watched her quietly with warm eyes. Even Han Jue stopped cleaning the bowls for a mont to smile at her.

Su Qinglan felt a little embarrassed but also happy. She was not the type of silly female who would refuse help from her mother or strong family backing just to prove she could do everything alone.

What was the use of having family if you could not rely on them when needed? She was not that stupid at all.

She thought to herself: ’I will use every advantage I have. With mother’s position and the city lord’s support, life here will be much easier. I can focus on the system missions increasing the number of cubs and improving living conditions without worrying too much about basic survival.’

Her eyes brightened even more as she planned everything in her head.

She would visit the fox tribe area after eating, check on the females and cubs, and start using that bamboo furniture booklet to make their lives more comfortable.

Better beds would help the pregnant females rest well.

Stronger storage would keep food safe. Simple chairs and tables would make daily life easier.

She imagined the fox tribe slowly building better houses with her help.

The dragon beastn might be cold at first, but once they saw how hardworking and kind the fox people were, and how the number of healthy cubs started increasing, their attitude would surely change.

Su Qinglan giggled again to herself, a soft and cute sound that made all her husbands look at her with fond expressions.

Rong Ye could not resist teasing. "Lan Lan, you look like a little squirrel who just hid ten nuts for winter. Share your secret plan with us?"

Su Qinglan shook her head playfully, her eyes sparkling. "It’s nothing bad. I just thought... since we are staying here, we should make our ho nice and help the tribe too. I have so ideas for furniture and better houses."

Hu Yan imdiately nodded. "Whatever you want to do, we will support you. If you want to visit the tribe area after eating, we can all go together."

Xiao Yi, who was still sitting in her lap, looked up with big curious eyes and patted her arm as if saying he wanted to go too. Xiao Er and Xiao San also perked up, their little bodies wiggling with excitent.

Su Qinglan laughed and rubbed their heads gently. "Yes, babies can co too. But you have to behave."

The three cubs nodded eagerly, making everyone smile.

She looked at her husbands with a bright, cute smile. "After we finish eating, let’s go see the tribe together. I want to help them build stronger houses."

The males all agreed without hesitation. Rong Ye even winked. "As long as Lan Lan is happy, we will carry the bamboo and build whatever you want."

Xuan Long gave a small nod, though his eyes still carried that protective sharpness. "If anyone troubles the tribe, I will handle it."

Su Qinglan felt warm all over. She really was lucky.

As they started clearing the mat, she thought about her mother again. The nervousness was still there, but she pushed it aside for now.

When the right ti ca, she would face her calmly. For today, she would focus on her tribe and her new plans.

The open space outside their big wooden hut was peaceful once more.

The vast blue sky stretched above the Dragon Beast City, and Su Qinglan felt ready for whatever ca next.
