Chapter 379: Chapter 379: Once Again, Stove Is Forgotten

The two n stood facing each other, but neither spoke.

Lan Shun’s fists were still trembling slightly, while Su Mingxuan’s face remained calm despite the bruises. The air between them was heavy, filled with years of resentnt, guilt, and unspoken words.

But in the end, neither of them continued the fight.

There were more important matters now.

Their daughters were missing.

And that was sothing neither of them could ignore.

Soon after, the tribe gathered together. The elders, the warriors, and the younger beastn all stood in a wide circle. The atmosphere was serious but calr than before.

Everything that had happened was explained from the very beginning.

How Lan Yue had been found.

How she had been rescued.

How Su Qinglan had appeared.

How the two sisters had reunited.

And finally... how both of them had disappeared in the explosion caused by the evil witch doctor from the Black Temple.

When Lan Shun heard the full story, he stood frozen.

His son in law had told him that Lan Yue was alive because the mark had not disappeared at all, but hearing it from these people... hearing that she had been rescued by her sister...

It felt unreal.

His eyes slowly widened.

"So... the first child..." he muttered.

"She survived."

For years, his mate, Wang Mulan, had lived in pain. She had cried countless nights, blaming herself for losing her firstborn daughter.

He still rembered the way she would sit by the sea, staring into the distance with empty eyes.

Every ti she saw other females carrying their children, her expression would grow dim.

Every ti she saw a young girl, her eyes would grow red.

The pain had never truly left her. And now...

Now he had learned that the child had survived all along.

A faint, rare smile slowly appeared on Lan Shun’s face.

"When I tell Mulan..." he murmured softly. "She will be so happy."

But the smile did not last long.

Because the next mont, the reality of the situation struck him again.

Both daughters had disappeared, vanishing in a violent blast.

His expression darkened, and grief filled his eyes once more.

All the anger and resentnt he had carried toward Su Mingxuan suddenly felt aningless.

What was the point of arguing now?

What was the point of fighting over past grievances when their daughters’ lives were in danger?

Lan Shun slowly closed his eyes and took a deep breath.

When he opened them again, the hatred in his gaze had lessened.

"This... we will settle later," he said in a low voice.

"For now, finding the females is more important."

Su Mingxuan gave a tired nod. He understood it. That was also what he wanted.

Bo Jian stepped forward at that mont. His expression was serious.

"Father," he said to Lan Shun, "I will follow Sister Qinglan’s mates to find Sister Qinglan and my mate."

He paused, then continued.

"You go with the tribe to Dragon City. We will return as soon as we find them."

Lan Shun looked at his daughter’s mate for a long mont. Then he nodded slowly. "Be careful."

At the sa ti, the matter of the tribe’s future was already discussed.

Their mountain... their ho... was gone.

The battlefield was now filled with the corpses of evil beasts. The soil had been polluted by blood, poison, and dark energy. No one could live there anymore.

It was no longer a ho. It had beco a graveyard.

Su Mingxuan stood before the gathered tribesn. His expression was tired, but his back was still straight.

"We cannot return to the mountain," he said. "It is no longer safe for our people."

The beastn exchanged glances, but no one spoke. They all understood.

Su Mingxuan continued, "Lan Shun has offered us a place in Dragon City. It is large enough to accommodate our entire tribe."

"It will be safer there."

"We can rebuild our lives."

Silence fell over the crowd. Then, slowly, many of them turned to look at Su Mingxuan.

Their expressions were calm. Whatever he decided... they would follow.

The lion tribe, who had rged closely with the fox tribe over the years, also stepped forward.

"We will go with you," one of the lion warriors said. "We are one tribe now."

Su Mingxuan nodded gratefully. The decision was made.

On the other side, Xuan Long had already grown impatient.

Finally, he spoke.

"I’m leaving."

The next second, his body shimred. His human form disappeared, and a massive green snake appeared in his place.

Without another word, he slithered away at terrifying speed, disappearing into the distance.

Su Mingxuan let out a tired sigh.

"He must be getting impatient by the second," he murmured.

But he did not stop him. The more ti they wasted, the more danger his daughter would be in.

A mont later, Hu Yan also transford into his massive tiger form and dashed after Xuan Long.

Han Jue and Rong Ye exchanged a glance.

Then both of them shifted into their beast forms, a powerful wolf and a sleek fox.

Shi Feng also transford into a large golden lion and followed.

They all rushed in the sa direction.

Bo Jian stood there, stunned.

One mont, everyone was standing together. The next mont, all the powerful beastn had disappeared into the distance.

He was still in his human form, completely left behind.

"...Wait," he muttered.

Before he could react, Rong Ye’s fox form suddenly returned for a brief mont. He lowered his body and nudged Bo Jian with his head.

"What are you waiting for?" Rong Ye said.

"Get on."

Bo Jian blinked in disbelief. These land beasts were known to be proud and territorial.

Yet now, one of them was letting him ride on his back?

But there was no ti to hesitate. He quickly climbed onto Rong Ye’s back, gripping his fur.

The fox imdiately turned and dashed away.

Not far behind, a certain small figure was trembling.

Stove stood alone, his leafy body swaying slightly.

His master... had disappeared again. And all her beast husbands had just run off without him.

Again.

"Unbelievable," he thought in his mind.

"Every ti. Every single ti."

He puffed up his leaves in anger.

"If you want to run away, at least take your spiritual plant with you. Do you think I grow myself? Do you think I water myself?"

Beside him, a small pouch hung from one of his vines.

Inside the pouch, his tiny plant wife rustled softly.

Stove glanced down at the pouch and sniffed.

"See? Even my wife agrees. This is bullying."

He looked up and saw the last of the beasts disappearing into the distance.

His eyes widened. "Wait. Don’t run so fast."
