Chapter 368: Expected Move (1)

It didn’t matter to even if other team mbers whispered about the inclusion of my family mbers into the Myongjin team because I didn’t have to check their feelings or try to be fair, conscious of what they thought about . As they say, n are blind in their own cause.

Anyway, I let my father select the 30 mbers of our team, then I spent the rest of the day hunting in the level 1500 hunting ground Land of Titan.

Aside from the joy of hunting, I was ready to leave this place because the 40 regions would seeon be rged into one, and a higher level hunting ground than this one would appear.

Three days later.

I was still hunting in the level 1500 hunting ground Land of Titan.

But then a ssage rang.

[The opponent of the Myongjin team for the ‘Strongest Guild Selection’ event’ has been decided.

-You will be transferred to the arena after 30 minutes.

-If the registered mbers in the team are not connected even after 30 minutes, only the users who are connected will be moved to the arena.

If more than two-thirds of the participants are not connected, the team will be forcibly withdrawn from the event.]

As soon as I checked the ssage, I imdiately exited the hunting ground.

According to the ssage, there was no mandate that the team mbers should stick together, but I could not afford to act alone when my family mbers including my father as well as other mbers of our team were now gathered at the main base of the Myongjin Guild.

When I arrived at the main base in Rodon Castle, they were waiting for as expected.

“Howdy. Why are you so late? We’ve been waiting for you for a long ti,” said my sister, welcoming .

Right next to her were the other 28 mbers of our team, including my father, mother, brother, and sister-in-law.

“Well, it’s only been less than five minutes since the ssage rang!”

“Gosh, you ca here last, so you arrived very late.”

As my sister said, I was the last to co here, so I just shrugged and didn’t say anything.

Of course, there was nobody who took my sister’s teasing seriously.

On the contrary, they welcod my belated arrival, with their eyes twinkling.

Such a reaction was only expected because I always won 1st place, regardless of whether I challenged the event or quest alone or with a party.

As a result, those who participated in the ‘Strongest Guild Selection’ event had no choice but to be excited.

For it was almost 99%, or 100% certain that I would win in this event.

Again, the probability of winning first place was at least 99%, not 100%, not to ntion the 100% chance of our team receiving the reward for 1st place.

Anyway, I took a seat amid their warm welco.

Then my father opened his mouth.

“I’m going to leave this event entirely to Juyoung.”

At first, Director Sok led the mbers of the Strategic Departnt to find so contingency asures for the event around the corner as that was his job.

At that ti, he checked my status window and said to , “I think I did sothing wrong. WE already have the strongest hidden card in our team. It’s you, Juyoung.”

So it was unanimously decided that I would lead our team.

Anyway, I happily waited for the event to start quickly.

For I knew that just like the event to select the strongest player, this event to find the strongest guild was made for .

***

While Juyoung Hong and 29 others of Myongjin Team were waiting for the event to start, the top executives of the Holdridge Group in New York were also having a eting about the event.

“We’re going to win in our region, but in the end, the Myongjin Team led by Asirante will win among the strongest guilds.”

“…”

“…”

“…”

Everyone who participated in the eting did not refute what the top five executives said because it was true.

Since Holdridge’s pride was greatly hurt by allowing Asirante break the statue throwing out tradable coins on behalf of them, they watched Asirante more carefully than anybody else.

So they had no choice but to realize that the already incredibly strong Asirante was growing even stronger at a breakneck pace.

Then another top executive said, “Well, aside from Juyoung Hong, it seems that the pace of events within ‘Revival Legend’ has suddenly beco faster than before…”

Juyoung Hong felt it and so did Myongjin Guild. So it was only natural that the Holdridge Guild with their vast intelligence network noticed it too.

So one of the top executives pointed it out, and Austin, who was in charge of Holdridge’s Intelligence Departnt, said, “Yes, that’s correct. Clearly, ‘Revival Legend’ is undergoing changes faster than originally planned. Of course, I don’t know why. However, based on the analysis of our Intelligence Departnt, the most certain change we can expect this ti is that those guys who appeared in Osaka, Japan that we mistook for NPCs will appear more frequently than before.”

“Why?” one executive mber asked with a displeased tone.

It was basically impossible to compromise with them and they were very strong.

Austin continued without any hesitation.

“As you rember, the coins are now dropped equally in all hunting grounds regardless of your level. This is only a reminder to all the participants that they should raise their reality actualization rate faster than before. Moreover, this ti, the EXP points that can be obtained in all hunting grounds and the new higher level hunting grounds have been increased. This is just another encouragent that the participants should try as hard as possible to beco stronger by raising their level. In other words, this ‘Revival Legend’ is telling us all to get stronger faster, along with the warning that we will be denied access to the ga if we slack off.”

Austin’s words might not be the exact answer, but obviously, what he said was not totally false.

So nobody in the conference room refuted him. Even the top five executives remained silent.

As if he had noticed the current atmosphere, Austin left a final sentence, “At first, I thought the monsters were our main enemy. However, we could deal with the monsters with the firearms developed by mankind. In other words, given the growing pressure of ‘Revival Legend’ on us to beco stronger faster, I think our main enemies are those guys…”

Once again, silence fell to the conference room.

After the long silence, soone whispered, “Then what’s our contingency plan?”

“We’ve got only one.”

“What is it?”

“Well, since we can’t win like Juyoung Hong who always wins in any event or quest, the best counterasure that our Intelligence Departent can find is to hunt monsters harder and collect as many coins as possible in the hunting grounds. Of course, I think we need to select and focus on a few key players because Juyoung Hong has proven that one really overwhelmingly strong person is much more powerful than the mix of hundred or thousands of weak players.”

“…”

“…”

“…”

That was too obvious an answer.

But since it was not wrong, the eting participants wrapped up the eting in silence in order to move to the hunting grounds.
