Chapter 23: Enhanced Quest (1)

I shouted for hooray at the ssage informing that I had reached Level 100, an indication that I was not one of the mass number of users who got Level 100.

That’s why another ssage rang.

[You have acquired three skill points by achieving Level 100.]

I’ve attained three new skill points.

Of course, I can learn new skills before Level 100 because although three skill points are given when I achieve Level 100, the skills are released step by step per level.

But I didn’t bother to move because I didn’t feel like I was lacking.

Of course, I’m going to move now because I’m thinking of moving to a more powerful hunting ground.

At that mont, a ssage rang, sothing that obviously didn’t ring during the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd closed betas.

“Enhancent Quest?”

I didn’t see it in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd closed betas.

So, I felt a bit bewildered about it at first.

But I didn’t feel it either, because I felt rather excited in no ti.

I already had the ‘God of Enhancent’ trait.

So, I shouted imdiately, “Check Enhancent Quest!”

[Level 100 Enhancent Quest

This is a special bonus for users who struggled to achieve Level 100.

: Only one item can be strengthened free of charge for this quest without a weapon or armor enhancent stone. However, it is limited to general grades, and only items that can be worn up to Level 200 can be strengthened.

: For this quest only, the failed item will not be broken even if strengthening fails.

: When the enhancent fails, the item’s enhancent value will be determined as one before the failure.

: Items that attempt to be enhanced belong to their actual users. (Users cannot trade or exchange them. Sales at stores are allowed.)

: The special bonus will be given according to the maximum enhancent achievent.

: Enhancent quest will disappear when you don’t strengthen or when you level to 101.]

While checking the contents of the ssage, my pleasant excitent disappeared because an item with a level limit of up to Level 200 in the general category was aningless to .

It was not worth my ti trying to strengthen it.

But my excitent surged again at the explanation at the bottom because it said I would receive a special bonus depending on the maximum enhancent achievent.

In other words, I was confident in achieving the highest enhancent level that nobody had ever achieved before.

“Let log out first!”

Looking back, I felt good mories about having earned the title, ‘Scarecrow Destroyer,’ which increased health and mana by 100,000 respectively, and all stat points by 200. So I felt like I needed to gather a little more information.

I thought lots of Revival Legend users who already completed the Level 100 Enhancent Quest must have posted lots of articles about it.

I accessed the Revival Legend hopage and searched Level 100 Enhancent Quest in the forum search box.

As expected, quite a few posts appeared. Then I clicked on the article that received the most recomndations.

If you have reached Level 100, you must have received the Level 100 Enhancent Quest.

Of course, only items that can be worn only up to Level 200 in the general grade can be strengthened. They may be useless to those who buy items with cash, but excellent to those users who don’t if you are lucky.

First, choose weapons over armor. Basically, the weapon enhancent stone is more expensive. Assuming that you will use it up to Level 200, weapons with higher reinforcents are more efficient than armor, whether it is long range, short-range, or a physics-type or magic-type.

Second, make Enhancent 3 in advance. Basically, all items are 100% successful until Enhancent 3.

However, this Quest breaks from Enhancent 1. Therefore, it is recomnded to strengthen it up to 3 before challenging. By the way, it is just up to 3. Items with more than Enhancent 3 that is, 4 or higher, cannot be registered.

I’d been looking for the special bonus for achieving the maximum Enhancent level, but it was missing there.

It only contained tips on how best to use the Enhancent Quest.

So, I started to look for other articles, then I found an eye-catching title.

You guys must have received this quest when you reached Level 100, right? Honestly, it’s important only to those users who buy items with cash, but useless to those who don’t or those who are already supported by the guild because they already bought items with cash or got better items with the guild’s support.

So of the people I know have succeeded in getting Enhancent 9.

Unfortunately, one of them failed to reach 10, so his item was confird with 9.

As you might know, it is a title that gives a player 50,000 Health and 50,000 mana.

There probably is Enhancent 11, but the bonus for it is unknown.

It was exactly the type of information I was looking for. It explained why I should do my best to strengthen by using the ‘God of Enhancent’ trait.

So, I imdiately closed the Revival Legend hopage and went to bed to wear the 2nd-generation VR adaptor because the ”God of Enhancent’ trait had a cooldown.

Stone golems were visible from a close distance as soon as I accessed it.

Normally I should have fired an Ice Ball or an Ice Bolt in this situation.

However, ignoring the stone golems, I quickly moved to the starting point of the Golem Habitat where the Teleport Zone was located. Then I moved straight to Kotum Castle using the Teleport Zone.

I went to visit a blacksmith in Kotum Castle.

The closer I got near the blacksmith, the clanging grew louder.

Of course, I had used this place a few tis.

During the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd closed betas, I made all wearable items up to Enhancent 3 because the success rate was 100%.

Sotis I challenged myself for further enhancents, but I didn’t feel like it was significant because I didn’t like the way the golden rings and items I obtained by investing my ti and effort disappeared because of just one elent called luck.

However, I honestly envied those users who carried high-enhancent items because there was no other way than to wear the items and grow faster.

So, when I received the God of Enhancent trait, I didn’t shout hooray because I was bewildered, but I was very happy deep down. I was much happier than when I earned the Iceman and Mutual Growth traits.

Anyway, the area around the blacksmith was quite crowded with those trying to strengthen items. I also mingled with them.

Then the ssage rang.

It was a ssage that rang automatically when anybody approached the blacksmith.

The ringing was familiar to because I heard it several tis during the first, second, and third closed betas. But soon an unfamiliar ssage popped up.
