The groom and bride stood facing each other, holding hands and gazing into each other’s eyes.
The priest’s solemn voice echoed: "Mr. Gu Moqian, do you take Miss Ji Wei to be your wife? Are you willing to love her, be faithful to her, through poverty, hardship, sickness, and love her unwaveringly until death do you part?"
Gu Moqian tightened his grip on Ji Wei’s hand, with every word from the priest engraved deeply into his heart, and he nodded very earnestly.
"I do."
"Miss Ji Wei, do you take Mr. Gu Moqian to be your husband? To love him, be faithful to him, regardless of poverty, hardship, sickness, or other difficulties, to love him unwaveringly until the end of life..."
Ji Wei looked at the man before her, tears already glistening in her eyes.
From their perfect missed encounter in a past life to being united in this one, they finally ca together.
Having gone through countless trials, the happiness they have now was hard-won, making her cherish it even more.
"I do."
She nodded solemnly through her tears, her lips curving into a captivating smile.
Mo Qian, thank you for being the love of my life, my one and only.
As long as I’m with you, I feel like the happiest person in the world, forever and ever!
"Kiss, kiss!"
The audience was deeply moved, and soone took the lead in shouting.
"Will the groom kiss the bride?" the priest also encouraged.
Gu Moqian looked at the tearful Ji Wei, hesitated no longer, embraced her slender waist, and pressed his lips tightly against her soft ones.
In an instant, the hall erupted in cheers.
The sound of cheers and blessings rose and fell, countless balloons were released, petals scattered, and strears floated...
The lively and joyous scene touched everyone. At this mont, a figure in a white suit stood by the flower gate, holding flowers, dressed to impress.
However, he lacked the courage to step forward and offer his blessings.
Jin Qichuan stood there, watching the groom and bride surrounded by the crowd from a distance, silently saying in his heart: Ji Wei, you must be happy.
